WEEK FOUR: REMOVAL (30 remain) Time to wake up, participants of the Realm. At 8am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS. Please go to the northern town by 9am. Even if the participants ignore the message (or are sleeping in, shame on them), as 9am approaches they will fall victim to a compulsion to head to the specified location. Three Leaders, Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox, are already present, Vezda with them. Rabbit speaks. "I'm so sorry. Please come forward." Once they finish speaking, an alert goes off from a PHS in the crowd—specifically, Taako's. Their PHS displays a simple message. You have ̶been select͘ed͞to remove Bucky Barnes. Regardless of their will, they will feel compelled to walk towards the scene. No other participant will be able to interfere; should they try, a barrier blocks their way.

[ Vezda, for his part, is genuinely surprised that he gets a gun too? It. Well, it fits with the cowboy theming, he supposes, but uh. He's not a huge fan of being given the chance to kill his equally innocent executioner.

As they stand apart, staring at each other from 20 paces away, Vezda considers what he wants his parting words to be.

Then he braces himself, squaring his shoulders and trying to look, well. As casual as one can be when preparing for a duel to the death. He's not happy, of course, but it's not like anyone else needs to see that, least of all Taako.

He tries to shrug nonchalantly. ]

What's there to say? Everyone already knows they fucked up. No use in dragging it out.

[He offers the shoulder a small squeeze, but then lowers his hand because he already knows he isn't going to have a single chance at convincing her to stop.

But he doesn't move away.]

[yikes. he does nothing to stop her, lingering close and giving the barrier one solid kick before growing still and keeping watch. he'll be on standby for support but man. what a day.]

[ after a like, solid minute of her trying to beat the shit out of the barrier, she gives up.

[He offers Xie Lian a small nod at the attempt, despite it not doing a whole lot.

[ There is no approach to the barrier, and no attempt to break it, when multiple people try it. But Hua Cheng is among the group near Lup during this.

[that's fine. he'll just stick incredibly close to her side, not quite touching her but lingering close enough if she needs him. normally he'd say everything will be fine, but he's not sure his words would reach her now. so. quiet it is. ]
