WEEK SEVEN: MINGLE (21 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. As usual, the participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and should anyone check their PHS, Chiron, Ochako, Soo-won, and Dorothy's profiles have been removed. They may also find that they have difficulty recalling complete details of the past weeks. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Not everything is the same as the previous pattern, though. The barrier to the north is back up, and once more, what lies beyond is an empty field. In contrast, however, participants may notice that they can finally access a place they haven't been able to before... Additionally, it looks like the Leaders aren't around. No matter where the participants look, they're nowhere to be found. Should anyone try calling for them in the Planetarium, there will be no response—not even a message telling the participant that they're busy. Finally, everything around the participants begins to... glitch? Buildings may suddenly blink out of existence and then back in, random items like chairs or cups may suddenly distort even while they're being used, and looking at any particular thing for too long may give someone a headache. It's worse than it was that one week, though: participants will find that it's happening to themselves as well. Body parts might suddenly glitch out of existence then back in, and there will be a shot of pain when it occurs. It'll happen randomly, but it also seems to occur more often if they're touching something or another person.

In the Plaza Inn:

• Ochako, Soo-won, Chiron, and Dorothy's portraits have been added to the shrine, and the flowers have been replaced with a fresh batch again. Mysterious. ]

[Ange can be found pretty much everywhere in the castle, carefully running a hand along the walls, or counting paces from one end of the hallway to the other, or checking each and every door.

She's got pretty much the same flat expression on her face no matter where she is, but the higher up in floors you find her, the more there's a faint air of befuddlement when things don't add up the way she's expecting them to.

Anyway, she notices other people around basically immediately, and offers up a casual:]

On the Black Lizard planet, it is considered respectful to measure hallways in new locations you find yourself in.

[Ange opens the door to the Pawn Room and stares at the pub setting for a long, long moment... It's the sort of place Dorothy probably would've been found in immediately, isn't it?

And then shuts the door behind her, turning away immediately, expression steely.

It's fine, probably.

If you're there as well, she'll immediately turn away.]

There is not anything work looking into there. [sure, ange.]

i. second floor

[ lup can be found in a few different places. she's interested in the fancy royal bedroom and the stone coffin one, but mostly - she strays towards the church on the second floor.

she just really likes the flowers, is all. she's carefully picking them and making crowns out of them. people can, in fact, catch her doing that, but also, at some point: ]

I cannot believe he threw away the crabs. [ said at top volume, as she stands in the middle of the church and puts her hands on her hips. ]

ii. kitchen

[ she can also be found in the castle kitchen, absolutely taking advantage of the state of the art appliances.

except at some point, she's in the middle of cooking something, and she - glitches? horribly. her arm glitches out of existence and the pan in that hand clatters to the floor noisily. more importantly, the stab of pain gets her to stagger, and then hunch over.

under her breath, she mutters ow. ]

[ despite the fact that you can absolutely find u̵̝̜ś͈̗͕̗ͅa̠gi̦̟̖̰ poking her nose into everything, the room she drifts towards to is the Queen’s room. Unsurprising, given it’s decor, you’d think she belonged there.

Catch her curled up on one of the chairs staring at the murals with an absent expression on her face. ]

[ otherwise, she’ll be wandering aimlessly, exploring wherever her feet leads her. pick a room and she’s probably poking her nose in, curiously checking what’s here. of course, occasionally even she glitches and clutches her arm in pain. ow ]

[ Alphinaud is curiously wandering up, exploring the castle grounds for himself, but as he approaches—Ange just shuts the door ahead of him.

He pauses, puzzled. ]

... Are you certain? Naught at all?

[ Being the nosy little explorer that he is, Alphinaud finds his way into the church, only to find Lup plucking out some of the flowers. ]

—Oh, Ruby. Find something of interest here?

[lecarre]

[There's literally no reason to perpetuate this lie except that she was caught having feelings.

Anyway so naturally, straight-faced:]

Nothing at all. We had best move on to the next room, so as to not waste time.

[she lies anyway]

[ oookay. he can just roll with this. ]

Very well. I have yet to see what the other rooms hold, at least.

[ he can come back to this one later... ]

[That's probably wise. To the next room over! She's not much for conversation anymore, is she?

Anyway, next is the... Knight Room?

She opens the door without hesitation, and then blinks at the ensuing darkness. Hm.]

[ clementine hurries over to kind of - come see if lup needs support or anything? but after the glitch is over she's not, like, freshly injured, so instead clem picks up the pan for her. ]

[ alex is doing her own exploring as well, peering into the rooms and lingering in one or two along the way. when she gets to the queen's room, she stops when she sees usagi curled up in one of the chairs. ]

[ Hopefully, you've been exploring the castle! Because in the lobby, near the entrance, a... thing? is drifting around in the air. It also sure sounds like Goat. ]

The Leaders are lost... I am doing what I can, using my powers, to communicate with you, but—ergh—I may not be able to do this for long... You must hurry.

Those who have been removed should be heading back to this side, but they may not be able to return without us... if you are willing, can you come and find us?

[ Hua Cheng, Xie Lian, Zuko, and Usagi will find themselves in a modern-looking, Earth-esque neighbourhood at night. None of them will recognize it, but at least the general aesthetic might be more familiar to Usagi.

A signpost will notify them that this is Nev St. It's a quiet place, if nothing else. Rows of houses, with lawns and mailboxes decorating the sides of the sidewalk. Sure, there's splatters of blood leading up to one specific house (27th), but it's probably fine. Up above their heads, a falcon circles the sky. ]

[ Emet-Selch, Hansa, and Blanca will find themselves in a modern-looking alleyway. If they try to leave, they'll end up circling back to the same spot, as if they're not allowed to move on just yet.

Each of them will be holding a contract, a pen, and a pill capsule. If they read the contract, most of it won't register in their minds, except for the bottom:
