WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding! |

[ xie lian blinks, hearing his name, and turns around -- and then gasps. ] Oh -- Ruoye, get away from him! [ ruoye perks up, standing up as straight as a piece of bandage could possibly stand up, and then retracts back to xie lian's sleeve. the edge of it peeks it out briefly, as if it's staring at hansa, and the owner of said bandage puts his fist to his hand and bows to him. ]
I am so sorry! Ah, it's usually more obedient than that... [ ruoye please... ]

Something like that - it's just an old friend. [ that's a cryptic answer that reveals nothing!
ruoye peeks out from xie lian's sleeve, and he glances down at it, then nods - it pops back out to wave, up and down, up and down, at hansa again! ] It's been acting so strangely today.

[Oh, it's waving back-! Hansa smiles, reaching forward a hand towards the other's sleeve.]

anyway. when hansa asks, xie lian nods. ] Go ahead, Ruoye. [ and out it creeps! the bandage unwinds itself so a little less than a foot of it "stands up", hovering a bit over xie lian's palm. ] There you are. This is Hansa.

Its story...? Ruoye has been with me for so long, I don't think I remember. [ xie lian watches as ruoye perks up with the pat, and then bows the top of its little bandage like it's greeting hansa properly, just like its master. how cute. ]
We go very far back. It's normally a bit more... erm, capable - sorry, Ruoye [ as the bandage droops :( ] -- than this, but I think it is the effect of this place that's limited it some.
