WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

I don't think I got a good enough answer out of the one I spoke to, honestly. It sounds like something out of a tv show, or a book?

I thought so, too. It's like a fairy-tale or something.

But with all of us here and the kinds of people that are here, it's not like it's impossible to believe them...

Even then, the set up is a lot. But by now it's safe to assume we're not all from the same place, right?

Yeah. If nothing else, I trust that part.

That means all different skills and experiences. I wonder if that's something they were relying on, or something that's just happened by chance.

Guess that would make sense. I don't feel like I'm particularly qualified, though.

Me neither. [ my god, she is not qualified for this. ] They're not... really able to explain how we do this though, are they? It doesn't leave us much to go off of.

You'd think if the fate of worlds are at sake you'd at least get a "how to" sheet.

Maybe that's why it's so hard to take this seriously.

Saving the world... worlds? ... sounds pretty daunting regardless, but what else can we do.

It's a bizarre concept. Maybe the worlds are supposed to be destroyed.

[ and she means this less because her world doesn't feel worth saving and more like... when bad things happen, is there really any undoing them? isn't whatever happens what's supposed to happen? ]

I could say there are parts of my world I'd like to see gone but... it's not really my call.

[ she's being judgey, but not of Alex. she's judging whoever put this responsibility on all of them and made it their call. ]
