WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding! |

Not that kind of awakening—but, yes. Several. And you?

[she smiles, hands clasped behind her back as she looks up, the train and trim of her dress sparkling in the moonlight.]
Research—or, our own memories are reflected into the sky. Perhaps the ones we don't recognize are our six helpers.

[elsa extends a finger, pointing to polaris.]
Can you see that star?

[ what the fuck are stars ]

In my father's land, Arendelle, that's known as the North star—the "pole star"—because it seldom moves, while the other stars in the sky seem to rotate around it.
And in my mother's land, Northuldra, it's known as the "sky-stake", or "sky-pole". That, as it rarely seems to move, it must be the one thing holding the world in place.
Even in the same land, it can mean the same thing, with different names. So I was hoping that it would be something similar for you—and perhaps, for everyone here.
Something that stays true, and connects all of us.

Well, I couldn't tell you what it's called where I came from, but I'll take your word for it. [ she could, but thinking about home is... complicated. ] I think the connection is probably less sweet than you're thinking.
no subject
Everything is less sweet than I'd like it to be.

You got that right. [ sniff. ] So. Settling in, snowflake?
no subject
...Snowflake? Is that what I'm responding to, now?
no subject
Snowball was also an option.

Maybe after I've eaten a few more cakes.

Won't be a problem here, I'm sure. I don't know, the only other snow related word I can think of off the top of my head is flurry, and that's stupid. It's not even a nickname.
flurry writing lup dunking on flurry: nice
yea i was proud of that one

More or less.
And you?
no subject
Eh. I'm ready to get off this wild ride, but it's not as bad as it could be, I guess.

[she leans her head on her knees, looking sideways at Lup on the floor.]
It would be nice if we could help them, though. With all of this.
