WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding! |

Alright. A granny who is always on her toes. Babushka Clementine.

Exactly.

[ does he have Zeus powers...... ]

I'm just a simple man. But I imagine whoever tosses the stars up there could make one of a formidable granny for your legend.

[ she means this as a joke? her tone says it's funny! ]

Which sort of shows on his face, like he's uncertain whether to laugh with her, or point out it shouldn't be a joke. He's about had it with kids not having good lives.]
Is there a reason you need them on your side?
no subject
I mean - anyone would want that on their side, right? Better than against you.
no subject
You aren't wrong, but I was hoping you would be young enough not to have to worry about things like that.
no subject
no one has done that. in a long time. she would probably be vaguely offended, ordinarily, but... week zero affection effect states that she is just more surprised than anything, and allows it. ]
Being young doesn't protect people from anything.
no subject
I know. [He sounds a bit sad having to admit this, but also as if he understands.] It shouldn't be that way, but it happens more than people think.
I'm sorry if it is that way for you.
no subject
Uh. It's... Fine. It just is what it is.
[ ANYWAY!! ]
So... I guess that's my constellation. If you could make one, what would yours be?
no subject
Mm. [He smirks slightly and laughs a little.] A beautiful woman maybe.
[He cuts a look down at her, and then grins somewhat stupidly.]
One with blonde hair and light eyes.
no subject
Is that someone specific?
no subject
Blondes are nice, is all. I suppose for the constellation it won't matter. Should I give her another color?
Red?
no subject
No one would be able to tell something like that, looking at the stars.
no subject
[He smiles faintly.]
Mine sounds very immature in the face of yours, I think.

[ she can't really articulate how - but to her it makes sense. she was thinking of wanting to watch over people, and be remembered as tireless. and he was thinking of... well, she has no idea. she assumes something.
but even if it wasn't secretly more meaningful, there's nothing wrong with wanting to look at something pretty? nothing wrong with liking pretty girls! ]

I like them both as well. We did a good job on our imaginary constellations. [A pause.] Do you think if we ask those three, they'll put them up there for us?
no subject
You think they could do that? [ she really has no grasp of what level of control or power they have... ]
no subject
[His raised brows seem to say, "hm?"]

no subject
So, should I expect you to show me your constellation when it finally gets thrown up there?
no subject
... Nope. I'm just gonna leave you looking and guessing.
no subject
I have to find it myself? I'm so old, Miss Clementine. I don't know if I'd be able to see that well.
