WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

It feels like they're expecting them to change and want to make sure it doesn't come as a surprise, but I don't know. It's weird when it's put with the rest of them.

[he'll turn his head to look at zuko better though.] Did you talk to the three of them yesterday?

[ sometimes u read.. he nods. this is a good observation from someone who is supposedly bull-headedly optimistic ]

But I heard what they were saying. Do you believe them?

[he's well aware he might be in the minority here but it doesn't stop him from nodding shortly.]

I do. I think we really need to help this Realm because they can't do it on their own.

What makes you so sure?

[ he's not challenging... yet. he's just wondering. ]

When I talked to Fox, they said they only appeared a few days before we did. So they really weren't the ones to bring us to this place. The Realm asked for our help.

They could be lying. Or it could be a trap... for them too.

[ just putting that out there as the resident cynical jerk ]

If it's a trap for them, too, then isn't that a bigger reason for us to help them? [there are different types of helping, zuko.]

By falling straight into it with them....?

Even if that happens, then we can work together to get ourselves back out. Isn't that better than something happening to them and then we're all alone?

[ sighs ]

Look, I'm not a heartless jerk. I don't want something to happen to them. I just think it's a little suspicious.

Have you even tried really talking to them?

[cuedoves]

Yeah.

[ aside from fox he's been semi-cute with the other ones. ]

They're okay.

That's it? [he shrugs.] Either way...guess it makes sense that some people would be suspicious of them. I just hope it's not everybody.
