WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

An invitation. I can read it out loud for you, if you'd like.

We've only been here a few days but we haven't really had a chance to gather and get know each other. So what better way than with a good ol' feast? Of course, you and your friends are invited too.

[retellers]

We're not friends. [ why is that the first thing they say. ] You're free to do whatever you want, but I'm not interested.

[ they attempt to give back the invitation. are they ignoring that they're going to be in town anyway? maybe. ]

[riegan]

That's not what they told me.

(And guess who isn't taking back the invitation? This guy.)

I can't make you go. If you aren't interested, then don't come. I can think of some people who might be disappointed if they missed you, though.

[retellers]

[ wolf sounds so dubious. ]

[riegan]

Of course. The three of you made quite the impression the other day. I'm sure you'd be quite popular.

(Crossing his arms,)

Ah, you aren't shy, are you?

[retellers]

I'm not. [ now they just sound defensive. ] Like I said, parties aren't my thing.

[riegan]

(Oh ho ho)

Like I said, I can't make you go. Maybe you can trade shifts with one of the others. Rabbit told me the six of you took turns.

(Because I guess this is now taking place after the Rabbit thread what is chronology someone stop me.)

We take turns in groups. And it's not for ... social activities.

[ it's fine this murdergame doesn't have chronology. it's all fake. ]

Would it help if I called it professional networking instead?

Fair enough. If you're content with your current position then there's no reason for you to try to further it.

Even if you don't come, others will. It's quite a lot of people to feed and we only have one kitchen to work with (See what he's getting at here???) Think maybe you could send something our way? A little bit of food or drink to keep the masses happy.
