WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[ It's a lanyard chain that spans about fifteen feet. Slightly springy. ]

[ He leans in so he can take the end of the lanyard and loops it twice around Elsa's wrist so it tightens when the rope is taut, and does the same for his own wrist too. ]

And now, we go find a bird.

[this is. genuinely very interesting. elsa, at least, looks negative bored. she stands, and starts following kano, nee baro baron, to... find a bird.

luckily, they don't have to go very far. there's a bunch of sparrows nearby, hopping and cheeping in the forest.]

[ Ohh, good good good. Kano stops far enough away from the birds that they don't scare them away and can speak without spooking them either. ]

Hey, miss Elsa~ Can you climb trees?

Climb...? Uh, no? Maybe? I'm not.. sure?

What? We can't catch birds if you can't climb trees? Here, here, I'll give you a boost up!

[ He sidles on over next to the tree trunk and laces his fingers together to create a step. ]

Me? But they... oh, okay.

[she puts one of her small feet in his hands, and hups up the tree......... her long, silvery train gently fluttering down behind her.]

[ Kano walks away and leaves her up there forever.

he's unfortunately bound to her by the lanyard so he has one arm just straight up in the air so there'll be some slack to the rope, and he places a finger to his lips and then points at the birds. ]

elsa, clinging to the branch, stares at the birds—then back at kano, tilting her head. what about them?]

He places a fist at his temple and brings it down in a forward arc. ]
