WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[She's quiet for a moment as they walk, before she just laughs softly and a little weakly behind her free hand.]

Well, it certainly isn't anything special... I am a student! But before that, I'm afraid I was nothing more than an orphan.

A student? You're in school? [WOW, BIG JEALOUS

but she waves away the last part.]

If you're "nothing more" than an orphan, then I guess we're in the same boat. [orphan solidarity..........]

Truly...? I, um--I think I'm a little happy that we are similar in something, Miss Elsa.

[even though that sounds kind of awful, Ange.]

But yes, I do go to school. I'm very excited about it as well--making it into the Academy has been quite lucky, I think, but I intend on making the most of my studies there.

Oh, a little bit of everything...!

[She squeezes Elsa's hand, clearly excited to talk about it.]

Science, and math, and literature and history...! The Mayfair Academy is well known for its curriculum.

I hope to learn as much as I can!

That's a wonderful goal. It sounds like an ideal place to do so.

Do you have a favorite subject?

Oh, I do! I like most all of the subjects, though I must admit I have a particular fondness for history and science.

They are so fascinating!

In that case, I hope you find some new things to study while on your sojourn here—although I hope it won't be that long.

[she gestures through the door of the inn.]

[In she goes! She leads the way to the kitchen.]

Oh, thank you! I didn't think about the fact that I might be able to learn new things here... but there are so many interesting people who I am sure know many interesting things.

[Once they're in the kitchen, she'll start to putter around to put on the kettle on the stove.]

[ange moves over to take a look at the teas Elsa has grabbed, before she picks out a nice vanilla black tea for her.]

Perhaps this one...? It should be quite pleasant, I would think.

[she putters around, pulling out biscuits, now.]

It would be wonderful if this is what our days consist of, wouldn't it?

I certainly could not complain... learning from each other, becoming friends, and being able to rest for a moment together sounds very pleasant.
