Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week.

Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else.

That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open!

Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

It does sound pretty wack, doesn't it? I'm not super unfamiliar with the concept of fetch quests, but the vague spooky you have to collect the nooovaaaa [ she wiggles her fingers for effect. ] thing is weird.

[ fetch quests is a term she is not used to, but it's pretty self explanatory. ]

I'm used to having to go hunt for stuff, but I don't know what to expect with the way they talk about it. When it's not something normal like bullets or food, you know?

but she does go to check the pantry and returns with syrup! ]

[ lup takes said syrup, setting it on the counter as she starts to flip pancakes. ]

I don't imagine anything is easy in your world, is it.

I don't know. Some things are easy.

When you don't run into anyone. Sometimes things are just quiet.

[ so, you know. when nothing is happening. then it's easy. ]

It's easier to deal with walkers than people.

We're smarter than the walkers, and they can't use weapons.

Loose jaws mean loose bites, so that's not so bad.

[ some people even break off a walker's lower jaw so it can't bite. not that clementine would know that. anyway she looks from the pancake up to Lup gratefully. ]

Sure. Don't use too much syrup, the pancake is good on its own. I've got eggs coming up too. Ever had hashbrowns?

[ for as much as she complains about making food for people, she sure doesn't seem to mind the act. ]

[ somewhat softly: ] But I still remember the things from when I was a kid. I still remember what it was like before.

[ clem is refraining from being sassy about how hashbrowns existed when she was eight, but only because pancake is yummy... ]

[ she takes a minute to busy herself with finishing the food, and then, as she slides it over to clementine: ]
