WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding! |

They say that our world is an islandāand that star is our central pole, keeping us fixed in place. That's why everything else moves, but not that star.

Okay. Big dipper nextāor, as we know it in Arendelle, the great wagon.
no subject
It's cool. Like different cultures and stuff.
[ she looks over to the big dipper. or the great wagon. that makes sense to her. ]
What's the story on that one?
no subject
That's the tongue and the yoke of the wagon, the part that connects to the horses. Then the scoopāthat partāis the wagon bed.
But in Northuldra, that curved handleāor yokeāthat's something else again: a hunter's bow.

Imagine choosing a wagon over a bow, right?
no subject
I could really use a bow.

Clementine, can you tell me a little bit about... where you came from?

[hm x2.]
What do you mean, monsters?
no subject
The undead?

[she repeats it back at clem, eyes going wide.]
Undead... people? People who have come back to life after they've died?
no subject
They're not coming back to life. They're just monsters, there's no life in them.

[her voice is soft.]
Is that right?

[...it would be much harder to take.
what a terrible place clem came from.]
No wonder you'd prefer a bow, then.
no subject
It's stupid, though. And dangerous.

treating her like a child would be an insult to her growth, but... gosh. maybe sometimes she just needs a break.]
Do you know how to make a bow?
I don't, personally, but... now seems like a good time for us to find out?
no subject
No, but someone here does. I should see if he'll show me. [ wait she said us. but does elsa like... want to learn to use a bow too? ] Us?
no subject
[she straightens out]
All my life, I've been focused on controlling and mastering my abilities, but here... [she shrugs, a little helplessly, but with a small smile.] Well, it's a pretty good opportunity to pick up a new skill, don't you think?
