WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

Regardless, there is no way we will be stuck here forever. I'm certain of it! We must just stay optimistic and hopeful.

She covers her cheeks with her hands a little bit, slightly flustered.]

She smiles a little, too.]

Um, right. I suppose I cannot help it. But I am happy if that optimism helps, too...!

[chanteuser]

Better than being all dramatic and depressing about it like I'm being. It's the right attitude to get more done with.

[lecarre]

Oh, no, miss! You haven't been dramatic or depressing!

[chanteuser]

Maybe a little. [ mmmmrrrr. she raises her hands and slaps at her cheeks. like a pep-talk without the talking. ]

I'll snap out of it once we know more about what's happening.

Miss...! Are you all right? You're doing just fine, surely! Nobody could blame you for being overwhelmed by this situation.

[chanteuser]

I'm fine! Just trying to snap myself out of thinking this over too much. You kinda get in a spiral, and the spiral's usually going down, right?

[lecarre]

I suppose that is true... it can be easy to overthink a situation like this.

But just a small time ago you were singing...! I do not think that is the action of someone who is overly gloomy. Please don't be so hard on yourself.

[chanteuser]

Singing's just nice to do. Helps with the whole "taking your mind off of things" thing when you're just focusing on the music and the lyrics.

[ just wait until like tomorrow they'll all be gloomy then. ]

[lecarre]

[ange will be eating all of her words.]

Well, there you have it! I do not think someone who would sing to take her mind off of things can call herself a gloomy person.

I'll try and make sure I sing happy songs, so I don't fall into any traps with sad ones.
