WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[she reeeeeeeeally really wants to say no. and frankly, she almost does. but, after a long moment of internal debate, elsa pulls a face and, surprisingly, says:] Okay.

But only a little. And somewhere no one can see!

[he waits it out, and lets her have her internal debate. there's nothing pressuring about his gaze, offering only a slight tilt of his head and upward quirk of his lips at her acceptance

he holds his hand out to her, palm up - in case she's wiling to take it]

[and after she'd JUST managed to turn claude down. darn it.]

...Right.

[elsa tentatively extends a hand, placing it gently into soo-won's, and letting him take the lead on this. dancing. wrgh.]

[recrowns]

[she's so hesitant... he guides her slightly away from everyone else - not so far that they can't hear the music, but not easily seen either.]

... you can always tell me if you'd like to change your mind as well. Say the word and I'll follow your lead. I swear it.

[just because he doesn't want to force her into anything she truly doesn't want to try]

It's fine. [she's not quite at "run away" stage. yet.]

I should probably... [she waves a hand.] ...try. Keep trying.

[now that they're a little bit apart, she withdraws her hand, clasping both together in front of her.]

So. If you lead... I should be able to follow.

[huh.]

[recrowns]

Mm, that's correct.

[a beat]

Though I'm afraid I might need to borrow your hand again for that. May I?

Yes--I mean, of course.

[it's pretty incredible. even with the affection curse, it still takes a moment for her to extend her hands, as if she's expecting him to put like a... box in them, or something.]

Okay. Let's dance.

[it is incredible - but even if he notices, he doesn't seem to say anything about it. instead he only moves to gently take one of her hands in one of his, holding it loose enough that it's easy to pull away, and then guiding her other hand to rest on his shoulder

he doesn't know how to waltz actually - or rather, he didn't know before today. the fortunate thing is that he's a very quick study, and he'll move his hand respectfully to her back so that it's easier to guide her - ]

I believe we begin like this, and if you could move your right foot back as I step forward....

[there's still a moment of hesitation when he takes her hands—but she does wrap her fingers around his, letting some of the tension escape. okay. okay.
