WEEK ONE: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around. However, an alert will notify the participants to a new message on their PHS. oh n Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your second investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). [hm. well, just to be safe, she's going to check out the emergency airlock switch to see if it looks like it's been used lately or if anything is out of place there, but if not, she'll follow zuko to the shuttles!]

[ he nods to mob, also relieved to see him, but there's a time limit so no time for dialogue!! zuko's gonna go inside the shuttles to check them out...... did a body get yeeted into space ]

[He's going to look at all of the spacesuit lockers - the outside first, and then opening each one.]

Inside Shuttle #1, everything is... a mess! It looks like equipment and whatnot got knocked over. Also, there's a bit of blood among the mess.

The outside of the lockers look normal. The first few lockers Mob opens don't contain anything, but when he gets to the fourth locker, inside is... a spacesuit! It's damaged and cut up, and bloody around where it's been cut. The visor is down, rendering whatever's underneath the helmet (if anything?) hidden. ]

yona crouches down to get a closer look at the mess and the blood - how much is "a bit"? does it look more like a small puddle, or is it more of a smattering of droplets? is it under the mess, on top of the mess, or evenly mixed among the mess?]

[ while yona checks out the blood, zuko's going to sort through the mess itself --- was there a struggle here? anything among the wreckage? can zuko discern what happened? etc ]

[Hmm. How does that spacesuit look - like an empty space suit? Or like a spacesuit someone is still wearing?

And then there's that helmet. Well. Just. Opening the visor, then.]

[ There's just a tiny bit of blood! A small smear or a drop here and there. It's kind of just mixed in with the mess in no real pattern.

Yeah, Zuko will be able to tell that Sasuke dueled Taka to the death here for Senri's hand in marriage. But no, it's as it says! Things are knocked over or smashed, again in no particular pattern. Could've been a struggle, could've not been.

How is Mob deciphering whether a space suit is empty or looks as though someone is still wearing it? But if he opens the visor, it's empty. ]

straightening up, she goes to each of the shuttle's chairs to examine them carefully - any blood or anything on or under them? she'll crouch down and look at it up close just in case.]

[I assume it's less floppy if a body is in it? But okay, he'll poke the suit, and then peer down from the visor into the suit - anything in there?]

There's blood on this. An accident might have happened.

[ No blood around the chairs! I have no idea what Zuko is checking.

The other space shuttle is in a similar state, though.

There is nothing in the space suit. ]

[mods i'm sorry i don't know shit about space shuttles. i assume there's a control panel with switches? or like. some way to steer it? yona's checking that. are there any flashing lights or anything... did someone leave the space shuttle's keys in .... does this shuttle even have keys.]

[ zuko will check the second shuttle, then!! looking at the mess, trying to see if there's any blood, digging through the mess to see if there's any kind of pattern, checking around the seats and the controls, trying to discern if it's been used!! ]

[Anything else in the locker? Or anything else on the spacesuit besides the cuts and blood?

If not, he's going to go wander over to the airlock and press his face against it and look outside.]

[ The truth is your mod doesn't know what the inside of a space shuttle looks like either.

I assume the shuttle doesn't have keys, so no. Maybe some lights are flashing? If nothing else, I'm going to presume that the shuttle is going CLOSE THE DOOR!!!, but in a more professional manner.

It's pretty much the same for the shuttle that Zuko is checking out.

Nothing else in the locker! It has just that bloody and cut up space suit. So Mob can go and look outside, where he will see the moon. ]

[Mob is actually also going back to the locker because I just realized that you said he found the bloody spacesuit in the fourth locker he came to, and there are four more lockers to look in after that. So. He looks in those.

Also for clarity, the first three lockers weren't empty, they just had regular spacesuits in them]

[ The shuttle is happy now that the door is closed. You may blast off. (Except not, because you're not the Moon group, alas.) Also, there is nothing of note on the ceiling.

Also a bit of blood in the other shuttle. Zuko will not be able to tell unless he happens to have a knife or sword on him!

Your mod is stupid and forgot about normal things in the locations, yes. Anyway, Mob opens another locker, and inside is... another space suit! Again, with its visor down. This one has no visible damage, but it does have splatters of blood on it. ]

...and she heads outside! time to get down and see if there's anything under the shuttle. providing there's not, she'll check the... uh... fuck. are they called exhaust pipes? they look like exhaust pipes?? the big pipes on the back of the shuttle.

[Opening the visor, with Zuko right there, looking inside it, and then going to the next locker and opening it. Normal space suit? Please?]

They probably don't match the steak knife. Ask again tomorrow.

Nothing in the space suit! But in the next locker is... a body. And one that doesn't appear to be breathing, whoops. Since Mob is staring straight at it, he should be able to recognize who it is.
