WEEK ONE: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around. However, an alert will notify the participants to a new message on their PHS. oh n Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your second investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). [ but now that that's done, time to keep moving?? she's gonna start heading towards the path of the inn and glancing around as she goes. no sus prints or blood trails right?? ]

Anyway, there's nothing on the way to the inn! There's also nothing in the inn lobby itself, which I will give you to make up for my inability to write plurals. Go look at the kitchen. There's nothing immediately out of place... ]

[With their items thus far in their possession, they head to the kitchen. Rufus makes a beeline for the walk-in freezer, leaving Lup and Usagi to check the appliances out in the open.]

[ lup is going to kill whoever broke the kitchen

but she keeps the weights in her pockets for now and goes to check all the cabinets. she drips water everywhere.

also she'll check the ceiling. ]

[ usagi, in continuing uselessness just heads straight for the cabinets to make actual warm drinks before she in fact does freeze to death.


i hope they're just all missing the body in the middle of the room ]

[ pikachu's body is in the freezer

No, there's nothing out of place in the walk in freezer. But since Lup and Usagi both are checking the cabinets and Usagi specifically is checking for warm drinks, they'll notice there's two missing tea cups and the tea kettle has been used recently.

Unless Usagi is using it and wouldn't notice, in which case, it'll remain a mystery forever. ]

[He stuffs Pikachu's body in his pocket to ration later.

Exiting the walk-in freezer, he checks the fridges and ovens—inside, on top, around the sides, and under. He'll watch the walls and floor for anything strange while he's walking around, too.]

[ she's going to check the walk in pantry or whatever it is, also, and i'm assuming there's nothing on the ceiling??? ]

[ usagi doesn't even register that as weird continues on her quest to make drinks, pulling out new mugs for all three of them and humming as she works.




wasn't she supposed to be doing something again? ]

[ rip the tea mystery

there's nothing on the ceiling or in the walk in pantry ... nothing near the fridges and ovens, either.

Combing over the floor, though, Rufus'll notice a single curly, purple hair. A bit further from that, he'll find a single blond hair. ]

[He crouches down to pick up both strands of hair. Is the blond hair very long? Well, they're examining the evidence tomorrow, so he doesn't spend too much time looking at them.

Then he turns to Usagi.]

Is that evidence?

[Stop slacking off.]

[evocationary]

[ she comes running out of the pantry like the terminator and slaps usagi's hand stop making TEA THIS INSTANT ]

Stop! I refuse to get wet and also fuckin' confuse the boner squad because you put fingerprints all over the kettle!

[ a beat as she looks at rufus. ] -- Oh. Is that hair? Gross, why do I always find the hairs.

[moondumplings]

Eh?

[ the. the what?

that brings usagi to a halt that she in fact leaves the kettle where it to blink in confusion turn to rufus for answers. too bad she immediately gets distracted by the strands in his hand. ]

....Oh, it's blonde.

[ ....... wAIT IT'S NOT HER HAIR, IS IT? ]
