WEEK ONE: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around. However, an alert will notify the participants to a new message on their PHS. oh n Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your second investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord!

Then, once it comes to a close, each participant will receive an alert to a new message: Cater and Sharon Kreuger have been removed from the Realm.

After the announcement, participants will receive yet another alert, though this one appears to come from the Leaders. why can't you guys STOP KILLING EACH OTHER we've got to deal with the Realm losing it (AGAIN) so put down the evidence and we'll collect it. AGAIN. if you don't want to carry a body leave a note and Goat or me will get it I know it's gross and awful but so is KILLING PEOPLE so. thank you. we'll see you tomorrow. i'm so sorry. True to the message, various areas appear around the Realm where the participants can leave evidence, the corpse, etc. Some time later, everything left in those spots will disappear. Afterwards, although participants can enter the Planetarium and attempt to make a wish, their requests will go unanswered/receive a message stating that the Leader is busy. For the rest of the day, at least, the participants are on their own. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Please report under this comment what evidence your character is leaving in the designated areas! If you do not report anything, then your character is responsible for bringing it to trial tomorrow and therefore the evidence will not automatically be available.

Outside Room 18, someone stumbles out to the hallway and doesn't even barely make it to the stairs before her legs topple from under her, hitting the floor. She's already crying, too tired to make it out the inn to find the body for her own eyes, too tired to find someone to ask for answers... too tired to do anything.

Her hands clench against her eyes.

She still can't do anything.]

It's not fair....!! It's not fair!!

[GOD ONE STEP FURTHER AND SHE WOULD HAVE FALLEN DOWN THE STAIRS. Raven's moving to collect her. He doesn't know what to say, because yeah, it isn't fair, so he's just going to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.]

She's so drained that she won't fight him redirecting her, like whatever energy she has left is 100% going to crying. He will probably have to pick her up once Usagi is done Huggin, but at least she doesn't squirm.]

It's more a dry, exhausted sob than anything else. Sharon and Cater both??? Both? Cater especially twists like a knife, aching at Hikaru's chestn curling her tighter against Usagi's arms.]

I-I hate this... I hate this, Usagi-chan...!

[ she murmurs nonsensical soothing words into Hikaru's hair, rocking her gently as she cries. you'd almost think she's done this before, huh? weird! ]

We have to be strong Hikaru-chan.

[ she says it yet even she's terrified of what could happen next. but they have to keep moving forward. they have to. ]

Were she not so, so tired, she'd be able to shake off her tears with little more than a nod, to let bravery come first. As she is, she can only cling to Usagi, shaking her head against her hold, trying her best to keep herself from hiccuping.]

This isn't right... Nobody needs to kill anybody! Doesn't everybody know that?? And Sharon-san... Cater-chan... they still...

[She lifts her head, tears streaming down her face and an exhausted anger in her eyes.]

Usagi-chan, we can't let this keep happening...!

her hand runs soothingly through hikaru's shorter hair, wishing there was more she could say- more she could do. ]

We must be able to do something.

[ she wants to be strong for hikaru. be the leader she's grown into the past two years but what is there when even her own abilities have been cut away and all she is is defenseless and powerless here? suddenly, she really is just a simple girl again and usagi's lost and floundering as the rest of them. ]

I don't know how but there must be some way to prevent such tragedies from continuing.
