WEEK ONE: TRIAL (38 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: empoti enp emporium. by the strike of twelve. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Swan, Tiger, and Goat. Tiger speaks. "You have nine hours. Try not to stab each other during them." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the second trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Does this coincide with another disturbance in the nova?

That child spilling blood first in this world damaged something... but the flow of nova now doesn't feel disrupted the way it was then, although I cannot say it hasn't been affected at all, in some manner.

What can you say? While you're knocked out the same as us, has the Realm actually provided anything of note that it didn't last time? Since it had been so difficult to communicate with the last death.

If there is anything unusual about these deaths, then we have received no word. Remember that the Realm responds to the will of those here.

[ y'all went and killed for some reason, so it's just doing its best to organize things for you? ]

Comforting. [ It isn't. ] While we have to determine who killed them, is there any way to tell when the Realm responds in such a way?

It is difficult to say. There are results that are obvious--that contraption you all call a... "guillotine" manifested because people expected a public execution, and so it came to be. However, it was not obvious to everyone that that was the Realm responding to their expectations, in itself.

I see. So we can expect that this next trial will be different in that regard, based on the combined will of the group. [ Fun! ] Especially given that there may be more than one killer.
