WEEK ONE: TRIAL (38 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: empoti enp emporium. by the strike of twelve. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Swan, Tiger, and Goat. Tiger speaks. "You have nine hours. Try not to stab each other during them." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the second trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. We had a paper talisman with Kanji on it, a pair of lace leggings, and... a clam, but it looked really, really weird. Kind of gross. The mermaids had it.

I couldn't read all of the talisman, though... um.... I think the PHS said it was Chinese.

The symbols on it kind of looked like kanji?

A talisman isn't necessarily specific - but I have a feeling that may have been related to one of the two of us, especially if you didn't recognize it as an "ofuda" from your own.

It seems the items were... generally specific to each of us, or where we may have come from.

It might not be relevant now, but it could be in the future, considering an item resurfaced like this.

Her handwriting will be shaky, but she'll do Whatever Estimate she can for what the talisman looked like, using 獅堂 光 as the kanji just as a placeholder. Congratulations, ancient chinese, you might be able to read that actually.]
