WEEK ONE: TRIAL
WEEK ONE: TRIAL (38 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: empoti enp emporium. by the strike of twelve. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Swan, Tiger, and Goat. Tiger speaks. "You have nine hours. Try not to stab each other during them." Hello, everyone, and welcome to the second trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord! |

Secrets? All I see is a person wearing armor. Nobody told me he was keeping a secret in there.

The kid obviously keeps it on for a reason. Yer old enough to read social cues. You're just choosing ta ignore them.
no subject
Ah, yes, because social cues are a great excuse for overlooking a person in armor who could easily hide anything they want inside of there. I mean, if you want to overlook potential suspects and sacrifice someone innocent because you just wanted to be gracious, go right ahead.

[Fight fight fight.]

Well there were better ways of going about it.

[And his smirk disappears. He stares the other man down..]
Don't drag your personal issues into this, Raven. Two people are dead. Think about that for a moment.
no subject
[It's his personal issues but it's yours too, SIR.]
no subject
Wait, is he-?
[SORRY HE'S LOOKING BACK AT ALPHONSE BECAUSE HE'S JUST LIKE?? HE'S LIKE ME??????]
no subject
Even if I knew the answer ta that it's not like I'd tell you. I just meant he's clearly got a good reason ta wanna keep that armor on. Same as you not wantin' ta strip last week.

[like]
[raven he did actually strip]
So did you. So your argument is moot. I understand what you're saying, believe me, but we weren't exempt, and he shouldn't be either. Fair is fair.

Thank you, Mr. Raven. I know it's not a good time to be hiding things, but everyone's being nice about my feelings even if they just met me.
[and turning to Hansa]
I'm sorry, Mr. Cervantes. I don't want anyone innocent to get blamed for this, either.

It's the golden rule, y'know? Treat others the way ya want to be treated.

Also this is - very? relevant to the murder trial? He won't take his helmet off for hair check, that's specifically, like - come on.
no subject
If he keeps that armor on all the time, how would a stray hair have gotten on the crime scene if he was the culprit?

[He was DENIED getting to see Dorothy's generous assets!!!]

Oh, no, that wasn't discrimination. That was because you're gross.
