WEEK ONE: TRIAL (38 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: empoti enp emporium. by the strike of twelve. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Swan, Tiger, and Goat. Tiger speaks. "You have nine hours. Try not to stab each other during them." ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Hello, everyone, and welcome to the second trial! For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. it has restraints: were any of them used? how many of them are broken? are there any bloody spots or fibers or anything on the inside of the restraints?]

I did, but I can't say that I took a good look at everything.

[ she did not want to be back in here, but it's fine. there's a murderer that needs to be caught. but hmmmmm. kano made an interesting comment about the sink so, she's going to go investigate the sink. does it still work? hmmm. ]

[ Nothing weird on the table besides blood stains! None of the restraints appear to be used either, and there are no bloody spots inside of them. I have no idea how many are broken.

[ what do our stains look like? they're fresh (ie: from thursday/friday and not like 100 years old or something), correct? what shape are they in? approximated to a human being, whereabouts would they be...?

[ yes!! izumo will be turning on the sink to see what happens as well as checking if there anything else on the ground that might have not been graciously gifted to us yesterday in flavor text.

any scraps of cloth? pieces of a person?? anything?? for that matter, is there anything to note around the sink? we have this infamous lye but ??? of it's use ???? ]

[ The blood are random smears, so it's kind of hard to tell where they would be approximate to a person.

Izumo turns on the sink, washing away the residual blood that was still in there. Water is running now! That's pretty much it.

That's right. Let's tread as carefully as we can. [ are they fresh, at least? you're killing me. are the smears consistent with something being dragged, or moving? are they vertical, horizontal, or just all over the place? are there streaks in it? closes eyes deeply

the table's in the center of the room. it's not on wheels or anything, right? it hasn't been moved at all from the center of the room?

does it. does it smell weird in here. they said lye use smells bad. ]

ANYWAY THE BLOOD. WHY AM I SO UNLUCKY....... oh well, no reason to keep the water running if it's working. but hmm. it's a small room, right? are there signs of any other missing instruments that haven't been accounted for? ie. kano's possibly double saw?? actually, is it possible to tell that anything besides what has been taken and accounted for is missing? ]

We can't miss anything with the time that we have left.

[ The blood is fresh, and the consistency is something like that, yes. They're all over the place and I don't know what you mean by streaks in it.

The table has not been moved. The room smells like an operating room, probably?

There's a lot of tools missing, even taking into consideration what's been presented as evidence. ]

[ i also don't know what i meant by that but thank you! lmao.... do they reach all the way to each end of the table? also, are they light/faint (ie: not a lot), or dark (a lot)?

let's check the head of the operating table and walk over to look at the gross bucket. he'll pick it up and look underneath it and inside of it. the bucket's super nasty looking, right? are there scratches on it that might have come from blades touching it on the inside or on the outside? any jagged ones that might have come from the saw itself? are there any lights or anything in the room that are visible/could have stuff hidden in the lamps/bulbs/whatever? im stretching here

it said surgical tools, too - is there anything visible that could be used for patching up a wound? ]

Miss Sharon was here, too, right? Her hair and the doll hair were both in this room...

Supposedly. We found her hair and the doll's hair here, but I don't think I really understood what the timeline that we had for her.

but we're going to flip this room, mods, so let's see.... can it be easily identified what tools are missing? is it just more scalpels or something more dubious, like, did someone actually manage to take the drill???

it's mostly empty, right?? actually—are there any kind of marks around the doorway that might have indicated anything? ]

Would this be somewhere she'd or our other person would have visited at the beginning, middle, or end?

[ The blood stains don't reach from end to end, no. They're smaller than that. They're on the fainter side?

The bucket looks as... it has all week. If Xie Lian checks the lights, nothing is hidden in them. The tools in the bucket were mostly for dissection, so maybe yes but also no? Depends on what you think you can use to patch up a wound.

The drill is not missing so far as your mods know. Mostly scalpels and maybe a few tools but it might be hard for Izumo tell unless she's kept track of the tools all week.

The bloodstains on the table aren't very heavy... so, whoever bled here didn't stay here for long. Perhaps, even, they just put something bloody on the table... [ like a bloody shirt? ] Maybe the shirt was wrapped around the saw...? To keep it from dripping, and then cleaned in the sink.

[ it's not like an operating table with a drain in the floor or anything, right? are there any movable tiles on the floor? on the ceiling? i don't know i'm screaming ]

has the underside of the operating table been checked? if it hasn't she will check it, and makes sure to run her hands over it to see if there might have been anything hidden anywhere or overlooked. ]

The saw didn't have anything on it but that could have been the case. [ my brain has gone so smooth... ] ...and I washed the rest of the blood down the sink.

Do you see anything that's sticking out to you? I don't see anything—we'll just have to worry later with how many things are missing from this room.

oK ONE LAST CHECK, oh my god, are there random fingerprints on the tray or anything if we squint. I don't know. is there something taped to the bottom of the medical tray that says "pikachu did it" ]

[ next week we'll be haunted by another room like this....maybe. but as xl is doing his final checks, izumo will be leaving the room because i'm WHOLEASS SMOOTH BRAIN.

unless they're something on underneath the floor that we're all missing? does anything on the floor look disturbed?? ]

I think we should go back if we can't find anything else this time.
