WEEK TWO: MINGLE
WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun! |

[you can find your local rat grandpa poking around the ship, on monday! either investigating those cannons to have a look at them, or snooping in the cargo area; in the latter case he's not really digging around so much as poking through just to see what's around here.]
I suppose giving us too much that's of any use would be far too easy, for this place.
[just muttering to himself a bit, there.]
fort-
[the come bug his ass prompt for this week is emet-selch hanging out on the fort wall, just perched up there on the edge of it and staring out to the sea in what appears to be silent contemplation.
he's not entirely unaware of his surroundings, though, and any approaching footsteps will get:]
Do try to keep a respectable distance.
or wildcard me--
[you can find him lurking in many places! just come at me.]
ship time
It's more about how well someone can use the tools provided. I'm sure there's someone in our group who's creative enough to find a use for this thing.
[Maybe for some interior decorating. Time to take out some walls.]
no subject
[please let's not take out walls.
someone's going to do it and he knows it.]
They do seem simple enough, at the least.

[they're in agreement there, really.]
Given that, I suppose we should expect at least one of these to destroy something.
no subject
[He grins.]
I'll bet you a bottle of liquor that it takes until Wednesday for something to get destroyed.
no subject
[that gets a small quirk of a smile, though, just one side of his mouth turning up.]
I have little interest in alcohol, myself, but very well. I will accept.

[thursday nights have been established as Trouble, after all. it's the most likely night there is.]
And while the temptation is certainly there, I will refrain from it for the time being.

and then sort of side steps around him but at a respectable one foot plus distance. ]
... Respectable enough?
no subject
[that gets an approving nod, thanks for respecting his personal emotional space bubble.]
I am beginning to think this Realm enjoys complicating matters for us.

[ mister tall and gothic is not wrong. ]
I expect we'll be told it's all random, but it does feel a bit convenient. Or... awkward enough to be planned?
no subject
[a slight sigh, there, shaking his head.]
If emotions attract nova, then it may well be an attempt to gather more, as much of an annoyance as it is in practice.
no subject
[ ... ]
Seeing as the goal is to gather nova one way or another, trying out different methods wouldn't be a weird thing for it to do. [ an ANNOYING thing, yes. but still. ]
no subject
[he would not put it past the place to just be toying with them.]
no subject
[ terrible? terrible. ]
Nothing about this is funny.
fort
[ Though from the light way Dorothy says it, she probably gets why. She stops a safe distance away, at least. ]
no subject
[he won't rudely reject her presence, but he is absolutely not here for Feelings.]
no subject
[ She knows. ]
ship time!!!
Of course it'd be too easy. We're never going to get anything useful, other than.. dumb costumes.
[ zuko is wearing one right now. complete with iguana parrot ]
no subject
[hello, zuko. he is judging... he's still in his usual outfit.]
no subject
[ judge him. he deserves it. ]
fort
[He knows the rules, sir, and is keeping his distance while glancing towards the sea himself]
Though I somehow doubt you are one for a swim.
no subject
[teleporting underwater? fine. chilling there when you can shield yourself? also fine. swimming... no.
he gestures for chiron to go ahead and sit nearby. just not too nearby.]
no subject
You can... stay underwater without needing to swim?
