WEEK TWO: MINGLE

WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

I feel like I should question the tricking demons thing, but I kind of just like the no context.

[ he seems totally fine with that, and gives her a smile! he would give lup the context if she wanted it, because it's very funny, but the mystery remains.

... though once the outfits come out, he turns pink. ] There are very, um... [ scandalous. red? that's a lot of leg on the women's one.... ]

[ she grins at him. ]

Come on, live a little. [ sniff. ] I'm not going to make you wear it if you don't want to. Just saying, you could definitely pull it off.

.....well, I can try it on, I guess...? I don't think anyone in my realm would ever wear anything like this - well, maybe a ghost.

[ it's. a lot of leg.

but okay! he will take them both from her, carefully so, and look around for somewhere to change.......... ]

Booooring, that's what your realm is.

[ it's so much leg, but like, she believes in him. look, she'll try one on too just so he feels better about it. hers has way more leg so he doesn't feel uncomfortable! ]

It's not so boring. Do you know, there's an entire city of ghosts? It is the least boring place I've ever seen.

[ this is from behind whatever dressing curtain there is. xie lian thinks ghost city is incredibly neat! it is a very cool and also extremely sinful place.

anyway. ] Ah... [ muffled: ] I don't know how to do up the laces.

It's boring if they don't wear thigh highs and miniskirts.

[ a beat. ] Do you want me to help?

Mn... if you wouldn't mind...

[ they probably do, i'm not gonna lie, but xie lian wouldn't remember.

he pulls aside the curtain a bit to let her in, and it's, like. it's a little criminal how nice this looks on him. his waist is so tiny. i hate it. ] Not too tightly, I don't think... um, it will probably make things worse.

[evocationary]

[ it looks REALLY good on him, which is hilarious. ]

Make things worse how? [ hey guess who just remembered emotionshare, it's me. anyway when she's this close, he can feel her amusement, a bit of fondness, and just a real low buzzing anxiety and unease in the background. ] This looks real good on you, bud. Told you.

[ xie lian gestures at his chest, where all of the bruising from the week before is still very visible in the titty window. ]

...I usually wear bandages here, anyway, but I can't right now... and these sorts of things are usually too tight here anyway. [ because he's not a lady, he just looks very delicate! face of a wood nymph, body of ryan gosling, et cetera.

anyway. as lup comes close, she'll feel xie lian's emotions as mostly calm - a little bit of fondness on his end, too, some embarrassment, but he seems to just be fine with it. if he's feeling bad, it's because he picks up on lup's anxiety, and a gentle concern blossoms with it, though he doesn't say anything. ]

I had to dress in a bridal outfit a little while ago, and it was much of the same... convincingly, we needed someone who could pass as a woman in order to trick a ghost without having to put a human girl in the spot.

[evocationary]

[ oh right, she forgot he got injured. oops. ]

You must've looked stunning as all hell. [ she says, grinning. she ignores the concern, haha, what anxiety. ] Here - is that good? I don't want to tighten it too much since like, I don't want to set you back on healing.

[ but she does tighten the straps and make it work for him. and then she looks at him in the mirror and wolf whistles. ayyyy. ]

[ don't bury your emotions, says xie lian, known trauma burier ]

Well... you're probably the only person who would have said so. [ considering both "fu yao" and "nan feng"'s reactions.... well, he also met san lang for the first time that day, though, so. who knows!

he's patient as she does up the little straps, nodding. ] I think that should be alright. [ what does he know?? at least he's snug in there. xie lian willingly goes with lup as she moves to the mirror, and looks at his reflection.

he looks. kind of silly, personally, and also, his legs are showing near the knee, and that's very embarrassing! xie lian's cheeks start turning a little pink. ] It's...um...breezy.

[evocationary]

[ she giggles at it's breezy. ]

It's cute, shut your mouth. [ she says, teasing. he can likely feel her playfulness. ] I told you your butt would look good in this.

[ did she? well, she thought it, at least. ] You don't have to keep it on, you know? My curiosity is satisfied.

I don't think I've ever paid attention to how my butt would look in anything, your highness.

[ which is too bad because he got that cake

i mean. he smiles, a little sheepish, reaching up to scratch his cheek. ] ...Would you mind helping me with the laces one more time...?
