WEEK TWO: MINGLE

WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

Am not! [wow???? also yeah??? but wow!!!] But it is cool. Sometimes when we travel to other worlds, we get new clothes and stuff to blend in. I kinda got used to it.

I was thinking about that, too. Maybe it's generating nova differently? [by making them all exercise really big amounts of willpower.]

Hmm... Maybe we should ask our leaders about it, huh? We all want to be the ones finding the most nova for the wishes, anyway.

Pirates are way cooler than nerdy things! [leave him to die. but he seems to perk up a bit.] It's possible. We got new gear and stuff when we met Big Hero 6 and we became Keyblade Hero 3.

It'd be good to ask them, sure. Especially if they might give us different answers.

I believe it. Donald wasn't totally into our name either but it's not like he had a better idea. It just sort of fit with the Big Hero 6.

Big Hero 6 is a funny name, too.

But you know, you still need your own hero name, too, Sora-kun.

Hmmm... [ she's thinking about it seriously! ] Usually it's something based around your quirk, but you said you've got all kinds...

But it can be themed around your team name, too, and you said you called yourselves the Keyblade Hero 3, right? So maybe you'd be the "Key"?

[he thinks about that for a moment.]

...what about Guiding Key? [stop him.]

Oh! That's perfect! Guiding Key, the Keyblade Hero!

[well guess that's just his name now.]

It sounds really cool! I'll be sure to use it when I come visit. [visitation rights are absolutely a thing he wants.] Is yours Uravity then? I saw it on your profile thing.

That's right! It's a play on my name and my quirk - Uraraka, and gravity. Uravity.

That's awesome. [and unique!] And totally distinctive. It fits you really well, too.

You think so? I worked pretty hard to try to come up with a good one.

Definitely! Your work shows. It's gonna be your hero name forever, right? No changing it?

We can change it, if we really want to. But the longer we're known by one name, the more likely that it's the one people remember, you know? So usually heroes stick with the name they debut with.

That makes sense. Kinda seems like it'd be a little hard for people to call for help if they're not sure what your name is. And that's what heroes are meant to do, right?

Yeah, exactly! It's way easier to get what you need if you know who to call. Like, if I need someone with all kinds of magic, I'd ask for...

[ she trails off, watching him expectantly. that's your cue, sora! ]

...[oh! oh that's him!] Guiding Key! [and he strikes a hero pose because i hate him and also myself.]

[ she claps her hands together! yaaay, you got it! ]

I can't believe you've already got a pose ready! The press will love it!

Welll we've had some practice hanging around some of the best heroes we know. Had to start somewhere. [but he looks so pleased anyway.]

Yeah! And when you are, I can tell everybody that I knew you when you were still training and how good you were back then. [he still does not know how good of a hero ochako is. but let him pretend.]
