WEEK TWO: MINGLE

WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

He takes off his big ol' pirate hat - and puts it on her head - before shrugging out of his big ol' pirate jacket, dropping it over top both her and the hat. They'll slow him down, as he hoists himself up easily onto the railing. ]

[ she sputters underneath the hat and has to legit swim out of the jacket itself but eventually she makes it out to see him on the railing and- ???? HUA CHENG-SAN?? HELLO? ]

If it's not something meant to be wet, then leaving it down there for the time it takes to get a leader means it runs the risk of being more damaged, correct?

[ usagi throws herself at the railing and yells at both the splash and impact of slamming into the wood nearly flipping her over to send her following after down him ]

It's fine, Hua Cheng is an excellent swimmer! And, despite only having one eye, he knows what he's looking for. So he's not gone for too long, before the boat is rocked again. ]

[ at least she remembers to hold onto the hat while watching worriedly at the water, all but clinging onto the railing so she, his things, and anything else stays put where it should be.

unlike, hua cheng who better not be the one doing that because she certainly does yelp when the boat decides to move on its own again ]

[ Poor Usagi, having a rough day. It's fine! After that bump into the boat, there's a new splash, and then Hua Cheng finds an errant halyard probably used for a rope ladder or gangplank off the side of the boat.

Hup! He is wet, his clothes are sticking to him, but he swoops his hair out of his good eye and holds up the PHS. ]

[ sometimes, it really does become very clear one should have not gotten out of bed today.

for example, Usagi, freshly single with her boyfriend forgotten in the void, stares at this very attractive, very wet guy and screams internally.

[ Unfortunate that the shirt is probably white? The way the material sticks to his arms, even his tattoo is a little visible on his arm. Which he shakes out a little, to get some of the water off of him. He'll have to wring out his clothes, or just outright change, before he will ever be dry again. His hair.

Usagi. [ He snaps his fingers in her line of sight, and radiates amusement once he's in range. ]

[ (narrator voice) three days later of standing there while bunny.exe stopped working later: ]

Ah?! Ah!!

[ eventually, she snaps out of it and turns an absolutely maroon shade of red, meeping again in mortification and clutching her cheeks. someone please save her ]

H-h-huA CHENG-SAN YOU'RE GONNA CATCH A COLD LIKE THIS.

[ rip her phs ]

[ A laugh bursts out of him, immediate and mean and delighted, before he reaches to take his hat off her head, his jacket from her. ]

I'm a ghost, if I get sick it's not going to do much to me. [ There isn't a move to put his jacket back on, wet as he is. ] Do you want your PHS, or not?

[ STOP BULLYING ]

[ A G-G-G-GHOST?! honestly she looks ready to faint at that. it's fine. she's fine. everything's topsy turvy but she's great. ]

I suppose that's one good thing.

[ give her a moment to slapchop her own cheeks to pull herself back together. hua cheng-san just did her a huge favor, get with the program......!!! a headshake later and she holds her hand out sheepishly for the device ]
