WEEK TWO: MINGLE

WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

[Well good thing Schwann chose to distance himself from Bucky!! The skeletons can try to go for his legs, but if they do, he's going to try to smash some holes in skulls with his sword! The rules with this stuff is to destroy the head, right?]

[Laine's going to pull that sword out of the wall, he's stronger than he looks. And he's going to do a fancy "kick the skeleton in the ribcage" move at the same time.

Let him look cool for like ten seconds before he slips in a puddle of puke next tag okay.]

[ Vezda succeeds in throwing up on some skeletons, who don't get paid enough for this, and they leave.

There are still other ones though. Schwann stabs some skulls! Hell yeah! The same skeleton speaks again, who is holeless. ]

You fool... no one is truly innocent. These people raised an alcoholic baby.

[ The guy is smashed against the wall! His family scream, as they are still struggling with the betrayal of their father figure. The man tries to punch Shima.

The skeleton is kicked! Laine looks so cool right now! The puke is there. ]

[ Vezda raises a fist in victory as he slumps to the ground. Eat it, skeletons.

Then he remembers that one asshole of Shima's back. So he wrestles himself out of his shirt, mops up as much of the puke as he can off the ground, then balls it up to yeet it at the jerk.

Hopefully it actually lands on him and not, you know, someone else. ]

[I refuse to take the fall on this one, Bucky's puke shit can hit someone else.

Schwann's busy trying to process what this one just fucking said.]

[He is distracted but will still reflexively stab any skeletons who try to get froggy at him in the head, so.]

he's flailing a little bit, but he gets up on his feet and.

takes a step back, looking pretty darn green around the edges. One hand goes up over his own mouth as he tries to focus on decapitating skeletons and not vomiting.]

[ You are all going to need showers after this, so I guess it is a good thing I didn't remove them from the bedrooms.

But skeletons scream and try to dodge the vomit. It looks like a weakness has been exploited...

Meanwhile, the skeleton talking to Schwann nods its skull. ]

Aye... it is always the same. We come here to attack, and there is a baby in the pub. The cycle never ends. Who is letting the babies go in there? We must put an age restriction on these dens of sin... I believe 18 is a fine age.

[ A skeleton that is fleeing from the puke calls out, ]

How about 21?

Yes... 21 works, too.

[ I have no mod comment for Shima, because I feel like getting hit with puke is bad enough.

While Laine is shaken, some of the skeletons try to tackle him! ]

[ Vezda's gonna take a moment to sit here, surrounded by his puke, and cradle his aching, spinning head. ]

Why the hell do you guys even care about this baby and this pub, you're skeletons!

Seriously? [Laine absolutely is going to do some kind of cool rolling and slashing move to fight off the skeletons.

actually he just rolled through more barf.

please let him escape this shop before he ends up vomiting on a skeleton because he is absolutely about ten seconds from vomiting on a skeleton.]

For that matter, how is attacking the town and causing chaos wholesale supposed to address that problem?

[ Laine escapes! Goodbye, forever...

Meanwhile, the skeletons all pause to like, consider the question? The dad is getting punched in the face while his family watches in horror.

The skeleton speaks. ]

Because the baby... is Jimmy's son, born of heteronormality.

[frostythehitman]

[ He's too bewildered and drunk to form words about that one. ]

Who the hell is Jimmy?

[He's not even trying to fight skeletons at this point.]

...What the hell does that even mean?

[ stopping the punches because what? ]

[retellers]

[ Oh. This is awkward. The skeleton looks around. ]

Did you, arrr, not hear the backstory? It's pretty tragic. Today is their anniversary.

[frostythehitman]

...Okay? What's that got to do with anything?

[laid]

I'm still waiting for an explanation as to how this all justifies attacking a whole town.

[Putting his sword away and folding his arms like a stern, dissapointed father.]

[retellers]

[ The skeletons are sweating. ]

It's... uh. You know.

[ They're slowly backing out of the room. ]

[ are we really gonna just awkward-stare them into submission ]

[Well it's working so far.

Anyway, cold as ice;]

I suggest you inform your remaining friends what will happen to them if they do not follow your example and withdraw.
[Captain Schwann will come over and put a sword through their skull, he means.]

[retellers]

[ They start muttering amongst themselves. ]

[ They run out.

Also, in theory, Shima is still wrestling with the dad in the background of all of this. ]
