Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs!

Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing.

Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

Less confusing. Since it can be kind of hard to tell if you mean your left and right or somebody else's left and right, port and starboard are easier since they always mean the left side and the right side. It's always been that way.

Maybe I'm used to it. My dad taught me and Riku when we were kids and it sorta just stuck. [i have just remembered this is sora's first boat thread so yeah he doesn't know either. onward they go.]

If we keep sailing, I wonder if we'll find another town or something.

Yeah. We had rowboats that we used, mostly, but some of the bigger boats were used for fishing and stuff. [he's still watching where they're sailing just to see.]

A guy from my first group was a fisherman. He was obsessed with finding a boat for a long time - I guess he figured even if it was cramped, we'd be safe from the walkers out on the water.

[he has many questions but most of them right now are what the fuck, and he still can't say fuck out loud. instead, he stumbles and tries not to pitch over the front of the boat itself as it bobs in the water. rip.]

How did we--there's nothing there. [invisible barriers are so rude!!!] You okay?

[ the boat is just slowly edging along the barrier like when you drive into the walls in racing games. eventually it'll just turn them parallel to it, so she was. kind of right?

she sits up and brushes herself off. ]

[there it go. neither of them are steering this boat, so it's starting to drift and steer itself as the wind catches in the sail.]

Boat's fine. Doesn't look like it took any damage, but...I don't get it. Did we really hit a barrier this far out? [what even is the POINT then.]

You know, I would probably think the "magic invisible wall" thing is pretty cool, if we hadn't hit it without any warning.

Yeah. You and me both. You'd think they'd put signs or a buoy out here or something, what if the boat had been going faster?

You probably could have...[he just sounds dazed.] But if you're gonna blow us up, give me time to swim toward the shore, okay?

We should probably head back if this is as far as we can go. But we can always try again later.

Wanna take back over? I think I learned my lesson about steering boats.

Yeah, I think that's enough learning for today. [rip in both of them. but he'll settle back down to take over the steering, figuring out how to turn their boat back around.]
