WEEK TWO: INVESTIGATION (?? remain) On Friday morning at 7am, all the doors will unlock and the participants may traverse between areas again. Participants will find that, as they leave wherever they slept, everything feels... unclear? Did they see whoever they were with? They can no longer remember. Even for those who spent the night alone, they can feel that something is off. It doesn't seem as though the Leaders are around, but at this point, everyone should realize what has happened. Time to investigate. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Welcome to your third investigation! We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6pm EST and another set at 7pm EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8pm and 9pm EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9pm EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s). [She, unfortunately, does not take meticulous stock of what's in the cargo hold. Would she at least be able to get a vague sense of which items are missing some stock, even if not the exact amount?

The collection of chests will also get a look. Is there anything different about the chests if she takes a closer look? Or anything strange around or under them?]

I'll be nice and let Yoshizawa at least Perceive that some rope is missing. There are some chests missing, but that's been the case since before Thursday. Y'all are thieves. ]

Anyways. Making his way downtown, walking fast, heading into the crew quarters. Hua Cheng checks along the walls, ceiling, and floor, but checks the sleeping arrangements and anyy possessions here. We have a feeling that Elsa and Yoshizawa found the payload on the boat. ]

[Cool! She will take one last cursory look around, but if there's nothing here, she will make her way back to the deck. Because I am paranoid, she will carefully move to the area with the splatter, stop, and look directly above. Specifically, she wants to check what parts of the ship are above it or in the vicinity of it. Any convenient rope up there...? Did someone fall and go splat?

Elsa pulls out... a body! It's dressed like a space pirate, complete with the eyepatch. Also, it's bloody and definitely not breathing, or doing much of anything. Hm, bad.

[ With investigations coming to a close on the 6 PM EST crew, we pour one out for this member of eyepatch trio.

But Elsa screaming, and all the noise above deck, has Hua Cheng coming up the stairs at full speed, and -

Ah. There's no helping Laine, he's fairly certain, but he'll at least come over to help Elsa with the body, and to make sure she gets up to her feet again without disturbing too much of the remaining, non-body evidence. ]
