WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL
WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (43 remain) Whatever each character was doing—chatting with friends, going to bed, saving the world—ceases. In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently, they took a nap right in the middle of a small town, plopped outside on the paved road. Ow? Oh, but it looks like they've been given a goodie bag. Everyone likes gifts, right? Inside, it contains:
- packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. As a matter of fact, there's an alert for a new message already. Maybe it'll explain what's going on. Good evening, everyone. Uh, how are we sure theyāre arriving in the evening? Just say āhelloā! Or āgreetingsā! Greetings is fancy, right? Oh thatās true. Greetings, everyone. Thatās better? Yes! Except maybe we take out the thatās better part in the final version. Will do! Er, what? Unfortunately, it seems as though that's the only info they're given for now. In the meantime, why not explore the surrounding area? A number of buildings are locked, and the Planetarium appears to be closed, but there's enough to keep the characters occupied for a day or two. They might even want to get to know their fellow "participants" better, while they're at it. |

It would be unseemly for a servant such as myself to deny you the respect you deserve, sir.
[a pause]
Or should I call you "Master?"
[SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING WITH HIM]
no subject
Iā Would you call me "Master"?
no subject
I'm only teasing, sir. As a maid, I'm currently beholden to another household. My loyalties are with my Chairman and my Chairman alone.
no subject
[ shouts into the abyss, fuck you, Shintarou!! ]
Is "baron" no good, or does it have to be "sir"?
no subject
It could simply be your name, if you were to give me your real one. I'll address you however you'd like.
no subject
[ If he's allowed to choose? yeah. ]
What do you want me to call you, miss?
no subject
Simply "Miss Maid" will suffice. Or "Miss," if you'd like to shorten it.
no subject
Miss Maid... Miss... Yeah, alright! I think I can capitalize it in my head! That'll work.
no subject
Excellent. Then it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Baron.

[SHE'S NOTICED THAT HE HASN'T EATEN LIKE, ANYTHING]
no subject
[ He pulls a couple out of his pocket, slightly damp and coated with blood. Al, you're science, you can wash off blood with cold water and steep the tea in hot water and everything is okay right ]
no subject
[she's just staring at those blood soaked tea bags before she turns around and. walks to her own little gift bag to get. non-bloodied tea bags]
Perhaps we should utilize mine instead, Baron.
[otherwise she seems very. unconcerned by the blood]
no subject
Oh, you got some left! Been burning through mine real quick, so I was getting kinda worried there. Can you make it so it's not bitter, and doesn't make your mouth all dry?
no subject
But of course. Lady Alisa liked her tea sweet as well. Should I add some sugar and cream to yours?
[she begins to prepare the kettle!!]
no subject
like I'm insanely curious about people adding sugar and cream to tea??? what?? but I will not google ]
Hmm... Can I, like, have it on the side? A li'l saucer of cream, a li'l thing of sugar?
no subject
Of course. And just in case, I'll make sure that I don't steep it too bitterly for you.
no subject
Thank you, Miss~
[ He's going to eat the sugar plain. It crunches. ]
