WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL
WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (43 remain) Whatever each character was doing—chatting with friends, going to bed, saving the world—ceases. In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently, they took a nap right in the middle of a small town, plopped outside on the paved road. Ow? Oh, but it looks like they've been given a goodie bag. Everyone likes gifts, right? Inside, it contains:
- packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. As a matter of fact, there's an alert for a new message already. Maybe it'll explain what's going on. Good evening, everyone. Uh, how are we sure theyāre arriving in the evening? Just say āhelloā! Or āgreetingsā! Greetings is fancy, right? Oh thatās true. Greetings, everyone. Thatās better? Yes! Except maybe we take out the thatās better part in the final version. Will do! Er, what? Unfortunately, it seems as though that's the only info they're given for now. In the meantime, why not explore the surrounding area? A number of buildings are locked, and the Planetarium appears to be closed, but there's enough to keep the characters occupied for a day or two. They might even want to get to know their fellow "participants" better, while they're at it. |

Ange does not know what she's doing, so her hands hover uselessly for a bit, before she finally drags in a deep breath.]
You shouldn't be moving at all... this looks very painful.
[Since it's still bleeding, she does indeed use the scarf to try to staunch the bleeding a bit. Farewell, scarf.]
We need to find you a doctor.

he shakes his head.]
Virid. I need to find Virid.
no subject
Who is Virid...? Perhaps we can find him as we search for a doctor as well.

We'll find him. You need to stay still.

I need to find him—!

[he's not, but whatever!]

[PLS.]
Allow me to at least assist you while you do, if you insist on searching.
no subject
... All right.
[no idea who this girl is! no idea what's going on! but all he knows is that if he's here, he needs to find his brother.]
no subject
They're probably going to stagger all over pathetically looking for his brother now while Ange tries and fails to find a doctor.
It's a little pitiful.]
no subject
at some point, he's just going to drop to his knees.]
He's not here...
no subject
But... perhaps that means he is safer than we are.
no subject
... Where is this? What's going on?
[if this is the "beyond", then he's not the one who should be here. not alone, at least.]
no subject
I'm sorry... I truly don't know. I am just as confused as you are.
[But less bleed-y.]

I've spoken to a few of the others here. None of them seem to be from here either.
no subject
I've never heard of this "London".
no subject
... I have heard this before from the others here, but it never stops being strange...
It is the capital of the Kingdom of Albion, after all--it is quite important.
At least, back home...
no subject
... Then maybe you're from the "beyond"...
[the world virid wanted to see. he pauses, before slowly, as if reluctantly—]
What is it like there?
no subject
[She tilts her head in bemusement.]
Well, in truth, London is rather hard to describe. It is a very large city! Currently, it is divided in half by the Commonwealth and the Empire... things can be quite tense, but even so, it is an amazing city full of marvels.
