WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL
WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (43 remain) Whatever each character was doing—chatting with friends, going to bed, saving the world—ceases. In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently, they took a nap right in the middle of a small town, plopped outside on the paved road. Ow? Oh, but it looks like they've been given a goodie bag. Everyone likes gifts, right? Inside, it contains:
- packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. As a matter of fact, there's an alert for a new message already. Maybe it'll explain what's going on. Good evening, everyone. Uh, how are we sure theyāre arriving in the evening? Just say āhelloā! Or āgreetingsā! Greetings is fancy, right? Oh thatās true. Greetings, everyone. Thatās better? Yes! Except maybe we take out the thatās better part in the final version. Will do! Er, what? Unfortunately, it seems as though that's the only info they're given for now. In the meantime, why not explore the surrounding area? A number of buildings are locked, and the Planetarium appears to be closed, but there's enough to keep the characters occupied for a day or two. They might even want to get to know their fellow "participants" better, while they're at it. |

hesitantly, he takes her arm, before trying to stand. he looks pretty unsteady, but he's up, at least.]

time to help him along. maybe one of those buildings will have something they can use to clean out his wounds...? oh, she wishes yoon was here.]
...what's the last thing you remember?

his mouth presses into a line, and he looks away, remaining silent.]

yona nods to herself, and very, very carefully helps him over to ... the emporium! it looks like there's a variety of things in there. they might be able to find something useful.]
Is it just that wound? Or are there more?
no subject
... That should be it, mostly.
[everything else is just minor scrapes, at least.]
no subject
anyway, once they're in the emporium and yona spots some of the shirts with castle silhouettes on them, she makes sure he's okay to stand and goes over to just. take a couple of them. sorry, nonexistent shopkeeper, she needs these.
time for some gratuitous destruction of property. she's tearing up the shirts to make bandages.]
We'll need to find water or something, to clean out your wounds...
[are there any castle-branded water bottles here or is she going to have to run for the river or something.]
no subject
takes off modly hat]
... Thank you.
[he is still lowkey panicking over everything, but he can manage that much.]
no subject
[she's just going to keep talking as she ... stares at a water bottle, shakes it a little, and then unscrews the cap since that seems to be the only thing she can open. there. okay.
insert her wetting some of the fabric so she can get his wound cleaned up here. i don't know shit about first aid jan.]
no subject
but he probably winces in pain because hm water stings.]
I'm P— [he pauses. no, he's not really a prince now, is he?] Virid. Virid Visette Viridian.
no subject
...all right, Virid. I... think you'll be okay. This wound doesn't look as bad as it could be. [...] Sorry, this might sting a little.
[time to bandage him up!! now that it's clean. ish.]
no subject
[well. he hisses a little because ow, but it's not as if he's never felt pain, so. he deals with it.
once she's done, he tugs at the ends of his headband to check that no blood got on them, or his cape. seems fine, at least.]
... You seem experienced at this. You don't look that old, though.
no subject
[she says, smiling.]
My friends are better at it than me, but I remember a lot of what they did when they patched me up.
no subject
[concerning?]
no subject
[no, it's more like she goes looking for trouble.]
But it's toughened me up! So it's okay, I think.

[maybe that's why his brother—WAIT, HIS BROTHER.
virid starts glancing around.]
no subject
[...huh! she glances around, too, but she's not sure what they're supposed to be looking for.]
...is something wrong?
no subject
You... haven't seen anyone who looks like me, have you?
no subject
The only person I've seen who looks like you so far is you.
no subject
... I see. Maybe he isn't here, then...
