WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL
WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (43 remain) Whatever each character was doing—chatting with friends, going to bed, saving the world—ceases. In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently, they took a nap right in the middle of a small town, plopped outside on the paved road. Ow? Oh, but it looks like they've been given a goodie bag. Everyone likes gifts, right? Inside, it contains:
- packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. As a matter of fact, there's an alert for a new message already. Maybe it'll explain what's going on. Good evening, everyone. Uh, how are we sure theyāre arriving in the evening? Just say āhelloā! Or āgreetingsā! Greetings is fancy, right? Oh thatās true. Greetings, everyone. Thatās better? Yes! Except maybe we take out the thatās better part in the final version. Will do! Er, what? Unfortunately, it seems as though that's the only info they're given for now. In the meantime, why not explore the surrounding area? A number of buildings are locked, and the Planetarium appears to be closed, but there's enough to keep the characters occupied for a day or two. They might even want to get to know their fellow "participants" better, while they're at it. |

You know, you can play if you want to. Ain't no one around who will stop you or anything.

[ she really does!! ]
I just haven't decided which one. [ there are a few that seem especially fun, though. ] What looks interesting to you?
no subject
The Smac-A-Mole looks tempting. Nothing like hitting something to get out your frustrations.
no subject
[ doesn't she know a thing or two about frustrations?? either way, she's eyeing it some more. ]
So? Is that what you're picking?

[ time to go to the smac-a-mole. ]
no subject
[ Making it sound like she's being nice... when really she has no idea how to play. It looks straight forward enough....right? ]
no subject
[ neither of them know how to play and i think that's just great. they'll just smack the thing and hopefully not break any hands (or the machine). which definitely means that izumo is going to pick up the padded hammer to trigger the machine to start and.
guess.
start smacking things?? wildly?? especially since she'll quickly realize that she has to hit the "moles" pretty hard for them to go back into the machine box. ]

It's a girl tossing in what looks like a very fancy robe. He has an eye for detail and he feels like that must be really expensive,)
Woah, there... I'm pretty sure something like that needs to a "gentle wash."
no subject
him...again. she would feel embarrassed compared to the first time she saw him but it's fine? this is fine. she's not having a moment anymore and is just casually dumping the clothes she was found in into the river like garbage. ]
I'm not throwing them in there for any kind of washing.
[ she's chucking her other shoe into the water now, thanks for asking. ]
no subject
(He's... a little surprised! Anyway he's just going to come over so he can bug her up close,)
It seems like a waste. It looks quite valuable. (Especially now that he can see it up close. ) Well, I'm sure you have your reasons.
(Right?)
no subject
They're worthless. [ her voice drifts off momentarily sounding a bit forlorn only to be covered up with a sudden harshness. ] I honestly should have burned them but...
[ someone might have stopped her from burning clothes since that's a scene. ]
Anyway, it's none of your business why I'm discarding them.
no subject
It sounds like it must mean a lot to you, if you ask me. Especially if it means enough to want to set on fire.
(He's reading you, Izumo,)
I admit, I'm curious...
(Danger, danger.)
Let me guess, you aren't going to tell me anymore than that.
no subject
You're seeing things where there's nothing.
[ a pause. ]
But, you're right. I'm not going to tell you anything beyond that. It's not your business to know.
no subject
(Spoken like a guy...... who absolutely isn't going to just let that happen. He'll change the topic then!)
You haven't healed yet.
no subject
Of course I haven't. I don't have any super healing—I'm just a normal girl.
[ a perfectly normal girl with nothing special about her, so he can stop being nosy. though...she has her own questions. ]
Why? Are you saying that you'd heal right up if someone hurt you?

Oh, huh. Are you getting rid of all that stuff? Can I have 'em?
no subject
??? ]
Wha—no.
no subject
[ He still has a chance ]
no subject
[ ....????? ]
Are you some kind of pervert?
no subject
Eh... Some kind, yeah! Sure! Such a waste, though, getting rid of stuff other people can use, don'tcha think?
no subject
Maybe there's a reason why people get rid of their things and you should leave it at that.
no subject
But I can't have it? If part of you still wants it, maybe you shouldn't get rid of it? I'm, like, not real smart or anything, so it's hard to understand, y'know?
no subject
None of me wants it but I don't want to see it around either.
[ it's complicated and if claude didn't get answers then kano is not allowed answers. ]
Maybe I should have burned it from the start.
