WEEK SIX: TRIAL (22 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: Please go to the Emporium at 12. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Wolf speaks. "Nine hours. For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. let's take a look at these gun parts here today. i guess first off, is there enough here to make a complete gun, or did people forget to turn things in, are there parts that we're missing and didn't find. do they look like they might all be from the same gun. ]

[ mods can we. handwave a quick jaunt to clem's room. which is it. andromeda. to pick up the parts they found? ]

[ don't make me open the locations to check what the rooms look like right now. they're just easy to find, she didn't hide them. ]

But even after you grab Clem's gun parts, you're still missing some. ]

[ can she, with all of her great mg gun expertise, tell what they're missing? ]

[ cool, cool. that means there's enough of the gun here to tell what kind it is, right? ]

[ It looks like a revolver. ]

[ yeah okay, time to report this for now. she'll reassemble what she safely can for now one more thing real quick- do these pieces look like, forcefully disassembled like someone was just trying real hard to pull things apart or didn't know what they were doing which i guess would show in damage to the parts, or does it look neatly done?

and uh, these pieces definitely were not exploded or smashed right? ]

[ There's no particular damage to any part. ]

[ all right, round 2:

comparing whichever bullets were brought back to see if it looks like they match any of the available guns. delicately and with gloves of course, xoxo. what rounds do these firearms chamber, can she match ammunition to which gun they might have been for, or do these guns all conveniently chamber the same round?

also the whole tv show thing of just casually being able to check whether something was recently fired is fake as hell esp if it was cleaned or, you know, dunked in water and in a dolphin's mouth, but for thoroughness's sake-- can she tell whether any of these guns were recently fired. idk. maybe they didn't clean it. maybe it still smells even though it's been like, a day and a half now. ]

[ The guns are not all the same, no. I don't know if that means they all use different ammo or not, I don't know guns.

The bullets Taako added to the evidence pile match the incomplete gun. The bullets Hua Cheng added are of two different varieties, matching with the two guns Lup added. The bullet Alphinaud added matches with one of the guns Lup added.

And no, she can't tell either way. ]

[ hmmmm. i don't know if i should mosey on over to body check for this next q or not; if she goes to take a look at ochako's gunshot injury and compare the bullets they've got against it, would she. be able to tell which of these guns might have made an injury of the appropriate size, or are you going to tell me 'it sure looks like a bullet wound made by a handgun of some sort'?

listen, gotta cover our bases in case one of these revolvers or pistols is actually like, a thompson contender (mauyn only the fates will know what you're talking about) or desert eagle style hand cannon or something. ]
