WEEK SIX: TRIAL (22 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: Please go to the Emporium at 12. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Wolf speaks. "Nine hours. For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. [ Wolf walks them all the way over to the Ferris Wheel and just. stands there, I guess.

The ferris wheel is looking as precariously tilted as yesterday for Alphi! ]

We could probably outrun it. [no. but he will approach to get a closer look. there's nothing visibly wrong at a glance, right?] Was it just like this when you guys found it?

[ except for its placement and how precariously balanced it is, no, there doesn't seem to be anything off about it ]

Aye, just like so. Claude had given me a lift to climb it, and as I did, it was... creaking, to say the least.

[ He pauses, then looks up at it. It'll make investigating further tough. Unless... ]

Or we could eliminate the problem altogether, should we manage to push it to its side. What say you?

I was actually thinking the same. [there's a half-grin, and he stops at the base of the wheel. give him a second to look...]

If it was moving when you climbed...I can climb up to give it boost and we can roll it flat. I'll just jump off onto one of the stalls. It gives us time to get out of the way and then we can check more thoroughly.

Sure. Just be sure to give it a ton of space. [there's a nod and once alphinaud's out of the way of any possible damage he will approach, immediately jumping to grab onto one of the gondolas and start to climb. this is a big-ass wheel because he's been on this a few times this week, but he doesn't seem too bothered climbing it.

how are we doing in the fight against gravity?]

anyway when he's about midway the leaning ferris wheel of the boardwalk because the falling ferris wheel of the boardwalk. timbeeeeer ]

[ Alphinaud is out of the way, yes.

He's both glad this bitch is going down and worried about Sora's well being, however. ]

[well. it's probably fine. this wheel is creaking and sora's climbing up about halfway before the whole thing starts to fall.

he did not plan ahead beyond "i'll jump", so! it starts to fall and he hangs onto it until he's at a good point he can launch himself through the air onto the top of another stall. however, my roll says he crashes into the stall and probably falls right through it but he's fine, nothing is broken! he'll be up in a moment probably.

now that he's on the ground, what's our state of the ferris wheel?]

[ it's a ferris wheel on the ground, there's no much to say. none of the pods look like they've suddenly filled up with blood or anything. it looks like a ferris wheel but horizontal! yay, learning

also wolf is in the background looking like this is a normal thing ]

[ And after he answers, Alphinaud will start checking one of the pods that were higher up! ]

[for wolf this probably is normal so he says nothing about that and instead he'll answer from inside the stall.]

I'm okay! [probably going to be bruised as shit but that's a later problem. instead, he will get up and work his way out of the stall, hopping over debris to join alphinaud.

don't mind him idly checking some of the lower pods again, as if checking that nothing was stuck under them, etc.]

[ inside the pods and under the pods is........

absolutely nothing. they're completely empty. ]

[well...they tried! and now they ruined the boardwalk so that's cool that's fine. he'll let alphy check every single other pod, he did his work here.]

[ they are all empty. all of them. ]

[ What about the "bottom" of it where it's broken off the base? Are we looking at a dead end here ]

[...yup. still just letting alphinaud do his checks. it looks pretty empty from where he's at and there's only so much he can do before they start overlapping so go forth.]

though the base doesn't seem to be broken off per se? more like it. absolutely didn't land on its base. so the entire thing was moved? ]

... We may be looking in the wrong place, Sora. Should we check its original spot?

...I guess? But I wonder if we'll find anything there when the wheel itself looks...y'know. Not damaged. [hmm....] But if you think it's worth it, we can take a quick look as long as Wolf doesn't mind.
