WEEK SIX: TRIAL (22 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: Please go to the Emporium at 12. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Wolf speaks. "Nine hours. For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. STRIP CHECK / OUTFIT OF THE DAY CHECK

[ Still only one-handed, Hua Cheng has come and gone throughout the trial to make sure that the usual spot for strip check is set up. He's also throwing himself into, ah, avoiding Xie Lian and Dorothy. He's not in a great mood my dudes, this is not a tubular trial, so, here we are. Once again, his left sleeve of his inner robe is pinned to his shoulder, his red robes are up with various other things, and he has enough of a commanding voice that he can get attention without the Teacher Clap. ]

We're seven weeks into this. If you don't know the routine by now, I don't know what to do for you. [ Everyone has memloss but he doesn't care, this is a repetitive motion level of ingrained into trials by now. ] If you're volunteering to help check, do so now. If you have a preference for what gender checks you, make it known. If you have something to say, say it. Otherwise, let's get moving - we have three deaths and no concrete answers, so let's not waste time.

[ she's sitting down on a counter-top somewhere, but she doesn't feel like moving her injured shoulder as much as a strip-check would require, so. nah.

if anyone looks at her she'll? lift up her shirt a little to show the stab wound on her side? is this what you wanted to see?? ]

[he is here, but like. he gestures to his midsection, where the area that is still glowing faintly blue through the fabric also appears to be making the fabric kind of damp, at this point.]

If it is necessary, you may look, but I will tell you now it is more trouble than it is worth. I can only do so much to stem this.

[make him strip at your own risk, and by your own risk i mean it's going to be potentially messy because these poor bandages and gauze etc have lasted through half of trial now.]

[he's hanging around but since he's in a tanktop and shorts it's easier to see a majority of his wounds, including the bandages around his chest.]

[ Dorothy is wearing typical souvenir beach fare, probably some kind of pineapple-patterned button-up and shorts, but they're fine! She has bandages wrapped around her head, which she will undo if asked, but they're pretty red. like the injury is still consistently bleeding. She bears a healing stab wound on her abdomen and her leg is. Still broken.

[As per last trial, Ange is slow to strip this time.

But she does! She doesn't need as much help this trial either.

She is still covered in bruises. Her right arm is still splinted up and still in a sling for her once-dislocated shoulder, and her missing eye is still bandaged up. She's not going to un-bandage that unless for a really compelling reason.

Her head is also bandaged for a new head wound, which is, like all of the new wounds this week, still bleeding sluggishly.

Her clothing looks fine though--no tears or anything!]

[ he gives hua cheng an apologetic smile when he looks at him, but otherwise...

removing his robes, arm bandages, and neck bandages gives you a look at the black tattoo around xie lian's neck. the sole remaining survivor of the first cyoa group has healed up from those injuries completely, so there's none of that anymore. he has the same tattoo around his left ankle.

after that, xie lian takes a little while to unwind the bandages on his chest. his torso is a mess of old scars, but probably of more interest is the the three inch wide hole in his chest, right over his heart. he's standing with his hand cupped awkwardly underneath it so he doesn't like, bleed all over the emporium floor, because it sends out a fresh wave of blood every time his heart beats. it's. it's fine. injury week is great.

the only other exciting thing is he's not wearing the ring on a chain around his neck anymore? instead, the same clear diamond ring is on his right hand, and he will show it with no questions asked.

[ i'm sneepy so. alex is doing good. all injuries are mostly healed now, and she looks nice and normal. hurrah!

hair is clean, flowers in hair look lovely, she had a cute pair of shorts and a t-shirt that ties at the side on before she stripped off for the check.

the only difference is her left hand looks like someone grabbed or scratched the shit out of it. it's a little bruised, maybe a little swollen in places, and there are marks like someone dug their nails in and scratched. it's not new though, it's been there all week. ]

(He's wearing a touristy beach outfit that consists of shorts, a tshirt, and one of those tacky Hawaiian flower shirts on top. Instead of a fanny pack, he has a bow and some arrows tho. Also a sword from last week.

He has a few old scratches and cuts that are healing and people will recognize those from previous checks. The only new injury is on his chest! There's a large bandaid stuck over his heart. He's had it all week!)

[ usagi is wear a cute beach top and shorts combo so she can show of her mostly non injured body without too much effort. all her healing wounds from the past few weeks seem to be in that yellow-y just about healed state. yay!

if anyone were to inquire about her bleeding injury though, that requires a bit more privacy because it sure looks like a clean stab wound straight through the heart ]

[He is in this really tacky, 80s beachy outfit. Like khakis and loafers and a floral print shirt tacky. There's no stains, or tears.

His injuries from weeks prior (the chest wound, the shoulder wound, the side wound) are healing, or healed. He does have a bandaged right forearm that is sort of continuously soaking through with a bit of blood, but not badly, like it's small.]

[ No beachwear! He's in his normal clothes. And no injuries besides like a bruise on his arm? I didn't have the heart to give him his stab wounds back... so. There you go. ]

she's wearing a red dress, with her red robes over them. she's also got an orange ring that she won't take off.

she has a puncture wound in her side, and a big, nasty slash across her front. both of these are mostly healed over, but they're going to leave nasty scars. there's a fading bruise on her forehead near her hairline, and she's just absolutely littered with bruises and cuts and scrapes. oh, and she's missing her pointer finger on her left hand.

and currently bleeding is a big stab wound directly in the middle of her back. the edges of the wound are black, and the veins around it are also black. ]

[ zuko still looks like he was caught in an explosion recently, but everything else is old and healing! he's not as bandaged so many cuts are visible. ]

[Alphonse is as cooperative as ever since spilling his life's most important secret some weeks ago.

In contrast to most other trials, this week his armor is pretty beaten to shit, with large chunks seemingly slashed out of it, and parts tied together with makeshift cloth bindings—but it has been like that all week and Hua Cheng probably has a keen enough eye to see there's nothing newer than those.

The tuft of hair atop his helmet has grown hilariously long, and is braided into a thick cord that nearly reaches the floor. His forearms are still transmuted into blades, but now they have cut up beach towels wrapped around them for safety.

Inside the armor are...no kitties (but the pillow beds are still in there)! Kitties are in the room in case Al has to do anything dangerous during trial.

[Taako is wearing a very cool shirtthat's cut into a crop, some cool weed board shirts, a puka shell necklace, his heart sunglasses and some flippie floppies. Beach lewks! His wizard hat (he's still wearing a wizard hat) says Women Fear Me, Fish Love Me.

His injuries are: one very red and raw looking noose mark around his neck, a healing stab in his side that looks pretty well closed over by now, the gunshot to his thigh which is also very much healed over, the leftover healed burn on his foot and a greenish mostly faded bruise on his knee.]

[ jeanne is in her default outfit today! her purple outfit and there seem to be two pieces missing from it. it's fine.

removing her clothes will reveal many bandages, some stitches. she will remove bandages for anyone who asks, so!

she is bruised all over, but those are faded. as in over a week old faded. there are cuts and scratches of various lengths and depths along her arms and sides and legs. it's probably fine. those are all healing like they're a week old or so, too.

there's a big stab wound on her back and front, as if someone ran a blade through her, but that's healing, too. it's fine.

OH I FORGOT on her shoulder it looks like someone or something tried to bite a chunk out of it. that's fine, too. ]

[ now that they're in a place with normal clothes, clementine is wearing like. idk a lifeguard hoodie and jeans or something. and of course her gross hat.

she has a gunshot wound through her shoulder which is bandaged but it barely matters because of wound week. she also has a brand on her arm that i'm too lazy to link for the seventh time, a bigass scar down that arm, and a missing finger. also a stab wound on her side that's all bandaged up nicely. ]

[ well, she's in this swimsuit minus accessories and with one of those neat little kimono wraps on top because bikinis leave the bandages around her torso too exposed, and if she starts bleeding through the bandages then her cream school uniform would stain too easily.

she'll undo the bandages if asked, but like anyone else's this week they're kind of red. you know, still actively bleeding. beneath them they'll find a pretty through and through stab wound just below her left breast it looks like, like she was impaled by something. it's not straight on; more a little off to the side and angled to go diagonally through her until you find the matching exit wound on her back on the other side, on her right somewhere, but hey. realm effects. otherwise, she doesn't really have any notable injuries to report, since all the minor miscellanea of weeks previous has pretty much healed by now.

i went over what she has on her in pockets check, but again, no hairdecs, nothing on her wrists, nothing on her hands, etc. well, there's the purple diamond on the fingernail of her middle finger on her left hand, but i'm pretty sure i mentioned that way back in w0 and it's not important anyway. ]

Aside from the healing stab wound on his chest, Rufus sports a fresh wound on the left arm in question. Below the barcode on his shoulder, the skin cuts off abruptly and unevenly like it was torn off, revealing fragments of bone and shredded blood vessels and nerves. His prosthetic arm hangs on, seemingly by a thread, and several of its blue connections hang off the top without a point of attachment. He supports the weight of the prosthesis with his other arm for the duration of the inspection.

Nothing else is out of the ordinary. His clothes are also intact.]
