In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Inside, it contains: - a single random one of the following headbands and sparklers - packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. [ they pause, and one might almost get the impression they're staring into the distance. just for a moment. ]

Sort of. [haha. but okay, let's try again.] Do you know why we're here? What is it that we're supposed to do to help you?

But as for what you're here for, it's to save your worlds.

From what...? What's the state of our worlds right now? Our friends? What's happening to them?

They should be fine right now. The Realm is both connected to all worlds, at the same time that it... exists in its own space, you could say? Time shouldn't be passing where you're from.

[reconnective]

Like the heart of the worlds. If something happens to this place, all of our worlds, and yours, are in danger. Something like that? [great. but there seems to be some relief knowing time isn't passing. the others are safe for now.]

When you got here, were you by yourselves? Or was there someone waiting for you to explain what was happening?

Nope. We woke up with just each other's charming presences for company.

Did any of you know each other from your own worlds? [or are they truly just like them?]

[retellers]

[likewise, he's also quiet for a moment and seems to stare at fox. what a funny answer. it brings to mind another question he has, and he seems to debate if he's going to ask it.

Got it. [but the business at hand.] You said we're here to help save our worlds. How do we start? What are we supposed to do to next?

For now, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for just a bit longer. You'll receive your teams soon enough, however.

Wait, so we're working together or we're competing against each other. Which is it?

[retellers]

Both. Consider it a friendly sense of competition to motivate you and to help nova gather. Or so it goes, apparently.

[reconnective]

Right. [well. friendly competition's okay. they're all going to benefit in the end, so it should be fine. right?] Then I'll do my best to collect as much nova as I can to get everyone out of here!

Are we going to get to meet the others anytime soon? [he's eavesdropped enough on some other conversations to know there are three others missing here.] And what about you guys? Will we be able to talk to you more now that you have some time?

We'll be around town all week. We'll probably take shifts with the others, so... the week after, to meet the rest in public?
