WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (OVERFLOW)
WEEK ZERO: ARRIVAL (43 remain) Whatever each character was doing—chatting with friends, going to bed, saving the world—ceases. In fact, it's likely nothing more than a groggy memory now, as they open their eyes to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently, they took a nap right in the middle of a small town, plopped outside on the paved road. Ow? Oh, but it looks like they've been given a goodie bag. Everyone likes gifts, right? Inside, it contains:
- packets of tea - one unlabeled pill - a rock that resembles the galaxy - if they're of age, a mini bottle of alcohol; if they're underage, a can of Mountain D*w Baja Blast instead - a singular condom - a single random one of these pillows (how did this fit?) - a handheld device Should they boot up the device, the screen helpfully informs them that it's a Participant Help System (PHS). Not much on it, but it does have a few apps, including a memo one for taking notes. There's also a messaging system, though it's only capable of receiving messages, not sending any. As a matter of fact, there's an alert for a new message already. Maybe it'll explain what's going on. Good evening, everyone. Uh, how are we sure they’re arriving in the evening? Just say “hello”! Or “greetings”! Greetings is fancy, right? Oh that’s true. Greetings, everyone. That’s better? Yes! Except maybe we take out the that’s better part in the final version. Will do! Er, what? Unfortunately, it seems as though that's the only info they're given for now. In the meantime, why not explore the surrounding area? A number of buildings are locked, and the Planetarium appears to be closed, but there's enough to keep the characters occupied for a day or two. They might even want to get to know their fellow "participants" better, while they're at it. |

Thank you, though you hardly need to do anything for us. [ they pause. ] Well, we woke up here a couple of days before you. I certainly hope this isn't our home.

No big deal. You didn't have to give us a place to stay or anything, right? It's only fair. [but then they continue and. hm.] Do you remember how you got here? Why did you leave before the rest of us could find you?

[ they pause, and one might almost get the impression they're staring into the distance. just for a moment. ]
We were busy.

Are you okay? How can we help you? [a pause.] My name is Sora. You probably already know that, but...[there's a difference between reading data and actually meeting someone.]

[why are you so convinced you're here to help, sora.]

But as for what you're here for, it's to save your worlds.
no subject
From what...? What's the state of our worlds right now? Our friends? What's happening to them?

When you got here, were you by yourselves? Or was there someone waiting for you to explain what was happening?

Well... the possibility could exist? Haha...

...but he stops and decides to withhold it for another time.]
Got it. [but the business at hand.] You said we're here to help save our worlds. How do we start? What are we supposed to do to next?

Wait, so we're working together or we're competing against each other. Which is it?

Are we going to get to meet the others anytime soon? [he's eavesdropped enough on some other conversations to know there are three others missing here.] And what about you guys? Will we be able to talk to you more now that you have some time?
no subject
We'll be around town all week. We'll probably take shifts with the others, so... the week after, to meet the rest in public?
no subject
Does that mean we can also meet with you guys not in public?

Okay. We'll know which team we're on soon then? What else can we do right now while we're waiting?
