WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

TALK TO RABBIT

[retellers]

[ if one wants to talk to rabbit, you can find them either browsing through the emporium or walking around. they're feeding the fishies in the river! trying to get a cute animal in the forest to walk over to them! fun things.

if they spot you, they'll wave. ]

[reconnective]

[oh rabbit's moe...sora happens to be walking through the forest when he spots rabbit trying to coax something toward them. he slows down his steps as to not startle the animal (or rabbit themselves), but he offers a smile and waves back.]

I didn't get to say hi yesterday, but it's nice to see you. What're you doing?

[retellers]

[ it is a little squirrel... very cute.

but rabbit turns their attention away from it to sora. ]

I was just looking around and saw this little guy.

[reconnective]

[a baby...he's looking at the squirrel and he's not making any more moves so they can see if said-squirrel will come to rabbit.]

He's cute. Seems pretty friendly, too. [in that he's not running away.] Do you think he'll come join us if we wait?

[lecarre]

[Well... they seem friendly!!

Ange waves back, approaching cautiously.]

... Is it all right if, um, we talk for a moment?

[retellers]

[ they nod. ]

Mmhm! Of course.

[lecarre]

I just do not want to waste and of your time... you three all seem terribly busy.

And in truth, I do not have any um, smart things to ask or say.

[riegan]

(Ah, it's Rabbit. He catches Rabbit out by the river and watches for a little bit until he's noticed. He raises his hand, giving a two fingered salute and approaches,)

Sorry, I didn't mean to stare. You just reminded me of someone I know.

[retellers]

[ they blink in surprise. not that claude can tell, because of the mask, but still. ]

[riegan]

One of my classmates. She has a real affinity for animals. Actually, she gets along with them better than people.

(He speaks fondly! There's no judgement here,)

I thought you guys would be busy doing... well, whatever it is you guys are supposed to be doing. I expected we wouldn't hear or see any of you for a few days again.

[chanteuser]

[ alex leans over to try and look into the river. ]

I didn't even notice there were fish here, yesterday...

[retellers]

[ they point at the water. ]

Mmhm, but I think they're mostly hiding. You have to really look.

[chanteuser]

Or feed them, apparently.

[ she brushes some of her hair back behind her ear and leans a little further forwards. ]

What type of fish are they?

[dawnblushed]

[waves back!! and wanders over to crouch down at the riverside to look at what rabbit is doing with the fish.]

Good morning! What are you up to?

[retellers]

I'm trying to see what's down there.

[ a guppy! i think guppies are fish maybe. ]

[dawnblushed]

[peers into the water...]

It's a fish, but I think it's a little too small to eat, if you were looking for a meal.

[cuedoves]

[ zuko actually came here to feed the fishes too......... he's still wary (tm) of the mask chans so he looks embarrassed to be spotted by rabbit ]

Do you really have time for things like this?

[retellers]

What do you mean?

[cuedoves]

Don't you have job duties or whatever?

[Spotting them while walking through the forest, Alphonse waves back, a bit sheepishly—given at their first meeting he was a little...confrontational]

Um...do you like rabbits? Is that why you picked it for your mask?

[retellers]

[ they wave back. ]

Hi... um, I think they're cute. I didn't pick my mask though, but I'm happy I got such a nice animal.

[siblingless]

[MOE... RABBIT IS MOE... Would Rabbit be by the river on Tuesday? What secrets does the river hide besides, apparently, mermaids and fishes? Hm. Either way, she waves back.]

Rabbit-san, how are you today?

[ they are both waving. but yes, river is fine. ]

I'm okay. What about you?

[suddenlybees]

[ After Kano's talk with [redacted] he seeks out Rabbit by the riverside, hi, hello, he waves back with both hands. ]

Ooh, so you're the reason why they grow up all big and scary!
