WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

I don't usually have that many smart things to say either.

[ sometimes you self-drag. ]

But... I'm sure you're not giving yourself much credit. You're fine.

Besides, everyone is depending on you and the others... and you have all clearly already done a great deal for us. So...! You should be kinder to yourself as well.

Though...! That is not what I came here to ask you about. Was it you three who gave us the toothbrushes?

It was one of us. We, um... [ they sound embarrassed ] didn't realize you didn't have any.

Oh, please do not be too embarrassed. Planning something like this for this large of a group means that things are undoubtedly going to slip through the cracks.

It is just a relief to know that if we are missing something that we truly need, it is possible to get it later.

It's no problem. Please don't hesitate to ask. There are some things we aren't allowed to provide, but most should be okay.

Do you mind if, um... I ask what those things are? I would hate to ask for something like that and put you on the spot...

[ they scratch their cheek. ]

[lecarre]

[She lifts a hand to cover her mouth.]

Oh...! I see. Yes, of course, that is perfectly understandable.

Honestly, it is a relief to hear that is the case.

It's not that we don't trust anyone here, but... accidents do happen.

[ sometimes people run with knives and stab themselves. this is a murdergame. ]

Especially if someone is given something they don't know how to use.

Yes, of course... The fewer, um, weapons around, the better.

That is a relief, then. That isn't something I would ask for anyway.
