WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding! |

[ No matter where you are. No matter what you're doing. You're probably minding your own business, but then there's Dorothy, catching your eye.
And, beaming, also holding out her arms? Oh. ]
I suppose there are worse ways to feel right now, aren't there?
[ She apparently decided not to fight it at all, but at least she's not throwing herself at you. That's promising!! ]
[ ii. ]
[ Dorothy can be found in the planetarium, head tilted up to take in the sights with a rare look of something resembling pensive wonder.
Catch her attention and she'll blink, and then offer you a little smile, gesturing upwards. ]
Here's to hoping your skies were clear enough to enjoy a sight like this.
[ iii. ]
[ Wildcard!! Come at me, whatever you'd like. ]
ii.
I had no idea a sight like this could be hiding behind the smog, Miss Dorothy.
no subject
... Well, our sky likely wouldn't look like this anyway. But it really is a sight.

Yeah. The nights on our island were usually really clear so you could see everything out there. [not to mention, like, space travel but that's a whole other thing.] Were yours not?
no subject
[ H-his hair... it's so spiky...
How?
Right, not the time. ]
No, there were too many factories... all of that smoke and smog made it nearly impossible to see the stars unless you were closer to the country.
no subject
Well that's unfair. [dumb factories...] This place is pretty nice then, huh? You can make out some of the constellations and everything.

[he's so awkward he didn't have to ASK]
no subject
[ Goodness, he looks so awkward. It really does nothing to make her smile any less amused. ]
no subject
Ah, I suppose if the lady requests...
[and he kind of wants to hug too? it's weird. is something wrong with him? there must be.
but he'll. open his arms in return? slowly.]

Oh, they were. You wouldn't think it, since it's such a big city, but Mitakihara's night skies were really quite clear.
no subject
[ She's a little envious, honestly. ]
no subject
[ she's a middle schooler. u_u ]
I just know that when there aren't any clouds blocking it, the night sky looked beautiful.

You're a fan of the proactive approach, huh? I like it!
no subject
[ As she warmly clasps her hand. ]
For the most part, the impulse is rather harmless. Why let it ruin my day?
one
—Oh. Erm... I– I do not feel certain that would be proper of me.
[ yea... he's embarrassed ]
no subject
[ Good lord, tiny child, it's not like you'll never be a bride. ]
no subject
Nothing! But... [ aaa ] ... 'Tis best reserved for a close one, is it not?

[anyway she isn't approaching, hands folded neatly in front of her]
Oh my! You've decided to embrace it without shame? In a way, that's quite admirable.
no subject
I don't see a need to be embarrassed by it. It's merely affection.
no subject
[a pause]
[and then she opens her arms as well. HUGS, PLEASE]
I simply wish to respect people's personal space whenever possible.

Not really. I live in the city, so seeing the stars at all is a rare treat! [Light pollution... Unfortunate.] What about your skies?
no subject
There's not too much of an opportunity to enjoy the stars.

Kano shoves a large squishable frog plush in front of him and into Dorothy's arms, can't hug anybody if your arms are fully occupied with frog. ]
no subject
Mostly because that frog is going to be chucked unceremoniously over her shoulder to sail in a glorious arc. ]
Oh come now, you don't have to be so skittish.
