WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[sora's here by nature of spending a lot of time in this place now that it's open, and when he hears dorothy speak he finds himself nodding.]

Yeah. The nights on our island were usually really clear so you could see everything out there. [not to mention, like, space travel but that's a whole other thing.] Were yours not?

[misstrust]

[ H-his hair... it's so spiky...

How?

Right, not the time. ]

No, there were too many factories... all of that smoke and smog made it nearly impossible to see the stars unless you were closer to the country.

[reconnective]

[thank you for noticing but also hm, that sucks. he frowns a little at that because it's hard for him to imagine a place you can't see the sky.]

Well that's unfair. [dumb factories...] This place is pretty nice then, huh? You can make out some of the constellations and everything.

[misstrust]

Are you familiar with them? The constellations, I mean.

[ It hasn't really been something she'd focused on, admittedly. ]

[reconnective]

A few of them. [it might be a bit difficult to see in the dark, but his smile brightens.] I can show you some if you want. I think they're kinda cool.

[misstrust]

Why not? By all means, educate me.

[ At least this is the fun kind of learning. ]

[reconnective]

Okay. [he sounds excited at least, and he'll wander right up to her before looking upward.] Let's see...check it out. [he points upward.] See that line of really bright stars right there? With the one that kind of goes down at the tail end. That's called Aries. It's supposed to be a ram, but I don't think it's very ram-shaped.

[misstrust]

[ Dorothy follows that finger, squinting. ]

... You're right, I don't quite look at that and immediately think "sheep".

[reconnective]

It's weird, right? A lot of them really don't look like anything at all until you start to look closer. [he turns his head, scanning the sky and finding the big dipper since constellations are just out there, apparently. spending time on herc's world helped with identifying some of these.]

Try that one. What do you see?

[misstrust]

... A box.

[ Well. She tried. ]

[...to be fair she's not entirely wrong, so sora tilts his head as he examines the sky.]

Sort of, yeah. But it's bigger than that! [with that, he takes dorothy's hand so he can use her own hand to point and start to trace the lines of the constellation.] See? It has a handle, too.

[misstrust]

... So not a kite, then.

A shovel?

[ She doesn't appear to mind Sora taking her hand to draw pictures with, though that might just be how she is on a normal basis. ]

[it's much nicer when people just let this happen. he keeps a loose, gentle hold on her hand as he continues to trace the outlines of the constellation.]

I think it's supposed to be a ladle, but a shovel's close enough. That one's called the Big Dipper. There's another one not far from it called the Little Dipper.

[dorothy's hand is being moved to trace across the sky to find the other constellation.] That one.

[misstrust]

[ Right, why are people so weird about this-- Dorothy is content, humming quietly as she peers up again. ]

... Not very creative, but I do see the resemblance. The younger sibling, then?

I think so. I wish I knew the stories about them, but I've never really learned about them. So sometimes I like to make up my own. But if you really wanted to know I bet somebody else knows.

[he just thinks they're neat.]

[misstrust]

Well, then! Tell me about one of the ones you made up a story about.
