WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[ He's out here doing Kano things... His hoodie pockets sag with the weight of whatever's inside them, clacking as Kano rolls them around in his hands. ]

Like, two minutes. How good are you with trees? Or are you, like, a city boy?

I grew up on an island. We used to climb trees all the time. Why?

There was, like, a forest behind our house too, full of moose and snakes and hamsters or whatever. How 'bout yours?

[he has half a mind to pull kano's hands from his pocket. sir, what are you hiding in there???]

Yeah, okay. [but he lets it roll right off his back.] What kind of a forest was that? We didn't have much besides birds and fish, but some of the worlds I've been to had a lot of animals living in the jungles. Lions, monkeys, hippos, all kinds of stuff like that.

And are you a "friend of the animals," Sora?

I guess you could say that. [and now he's starting to figure some stuff out, maybe.] Did you find something out there?

[ He puts his hands up next to his face and curls his fingers into what's supposed to be bear claws. ]

[ Do bears count as cute and cuddly woodland creatures? Does it matter? It doesn't matter, because Kano's already gesturing Sora to follow him deeper into the woods. ]

[can't believe they're gonna die via bear. but okay, he'll definitely follow! deeper...into the woods...

[ What's in his pockets isn't important, it's the fact that there are bears to find and limbs to get nibbled on and he sure hopes Sora is good with animals because Kano isn't the Kagepro who is. ]

I guess some people thought they were suspicious and didn't want to keep them no matter what they heard. But isn't that kind of heavy to carry around? [multi-rock...]
