WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[elsa is drinking something—it's hard to tell if it's sparkling wine, or just sparkling apple juice—and standing off to the side, watching everyone mingle, still dressed in here crystalline finery. if you approach her, she immediately abridges whatever you're about to say with a hasty:] Before you ask, I don't dance. Just watching, I'm afraid.

2. BREATHING SPACE

[later on in the evening, you might find elsa secreted away outside of the lobby proper—but not far from the venue itself. she is leaning against a wall again, but very pointedly drinking a cup of water—and her cheeks are a bright, apple red. at the sound of your approach, she turns, and looks a little shy at being caught apart from everyone.]

It's warm in there, isn't it?

[ Dorothy seems a little surprised by this, cheeks also flushed-- but not to the extent of Elsa's. ]

Maybe you've been in too close with the crowd.

[elsa laughs a little, shifting, wrapping her free arm around herself in a self-embrace.]

I think it's been a while since I've been around that many people at once.

So you thought you might need some air? I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with that.

[ Especially for someone who doesn't seem to be used to that much socializing. ]

[elsa nods, and sighs.]

I guess it's good I know what my... limit is. But...

...I wish there was a better way to get to know so many people quickly.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that you don't need to rush it. Take things at your own pace and the people who are worth it will give you that space and patience.

... Or so I've come to find! [ With a laugh. ] Really, it's impossible to get to know so many people at once. It's shallow like that, at best.
