WEEK ZERO: MINGLE (43 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. Speaking of new, if participants turn on their PHS, they'll notice another section available. There's also an alert for a new message, titled TEAM ASSIGNMENT. Opening it will reveal which Leader they have been assigned to. Furthermore, at the corner of the PHS screen is an icon of an animal, depending on who their Leader is. It is visible only to them and no one else. That's not the only change, though. Participants may not notice at first—or perhaps they will?—but sooner or later, they may realize that they're... missing something? Strange. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Which is to say, the Planetarium is now open! Finally, for the rest of the week, the participants will inexplicably have the urge to be physically affectionate. That person you just met days ago? Time to cuddle! This complete stranger you ran into? It sure is tempting to hold their hand. This urge can range anywhere from minor to impossible to ignore, depending on the situation. Enjoy your bonding!

[ Early-on, Hilda is setting out a few floral centerpieces between the various dishes, pretty and daintily arranged. Her voice is a little flat in comparison, because she spots a certain flyer on the wall. ]

I don't even want to think about what the Blue Lions do at a party. They probably brood and chew on ice or something.

[ Woah, cool. And loud? But cool. The moon is full and the weather is nice, so naturally there are some folks outside. Hilda invites herself into anyone's company, stretching out her arms as she tilts her head up, gazing at the fireworks. ]

Oh, be delicate with those. [ the petals will bruise, and she'll have to beat him up. just kidding! or... ] Anyway, they're another class at our academy. I get the feeling that some of them have never had fun a day in their lives. You know, the kind of people who'd be out flipping rocks over in the river looking for nova instead of holding a feast.

Well... Sometimes? Not all of them. [ your mileage may vary ] I don't know them that well but some lions are more bitey than others.

Are they out in the forest or something? I didn't think things like lions lived where there were trees...

[ while she's used to peeling wallflowers out into the heart of a party, it's always nice to meet someone with their own enthusiasm. hilda happily lets her take the lead. ]

I guess it does. I studied it when I was younger, anyway.

[though kouka dances are probably pretty different from fódlan dances! ...well, kind of. yona's dancing is more akin to the dancer class moves now that i think about it, but it's pretty different from the dances at balls and so on.]

No. It's been a while since I've seen fireworks. It makes me think of simpler times.

[ She settles in beside Jeanne, looking up over the display. The lights pop and vanish like nothing she's really ever seen before here. It's not nostalgic or familiar to her, so she's curious: ]

[ A soft smile curves her lips. ]

It makes me reminisce of a time when I was with my family, of a time when I could watch something like this with them. I left my home at a young age, so it's nice to be able to remember it.
