WEEK ONE: MINGLE

WEEK ONE: MINGLE (40 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Hajime, Pikachu, and Virid's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Finally, this week, the participants will find themselves drawn to one person in particular. Whoever that is, they will find themselves compelled to be close to them physically. The longer they attempt to resist this, the more compelled they will be... and the closer they will want to be, to the point that it might be emotionally and physically draining to not be holding hands or hugging them for several hours because you've ignored them too long. That's fun.

[ No, they are going to leave the kitchen. Apparently, Kano is content to let the entire building burn so long as they get outside safely, he doesn't care about this place. ]

Is that really something you can forget...? But, you know, dry cereal makes a pretty okay breakfast too!

[ Not even in milk. Just dry cereal straight out of the box by the handful. ]

Mister Baron, could you please fetch me a box of baking soda?

[ No? No??? Kano slips past Sharon and puts himself in between her and the stove. ]

Miss Maid, the kitchen is on fire and maybe we should not be baking?

Though, you're right... we could bake so much with a fire like this...

Oh my, now is certainly not the time to bake. But baking soda will smother the fire simply. If you won't get it for me, then--

[just. easily steps past him towards the cabinet with baking soda in it]

[ Kano is not the one who puts out fires in his household, so he sticks behind her and edges near the sink in case he needs to cup his hands and fill them with water and flick it at the fire. ]

[anyway she puts the fire out rather swiftly with like, a whole box of baking soda, so. IT'S FINE!!]

Goodness, this is rather embarrassing.

[ There is no need for water and making the fire any worse, because the baking soda smothers the flames and Kano waves his hand in front of his face to fan away some of that smoke. ]

Can we abandon ship now? Nothing to do until the smoke goes away, right?

[also waving her hand to bat away some of the smoke. she's still so composed, tho!!]

If I leave the kitchen like this, whoever comes in after me will have quite the mess to clean up. That isn't very polite, is it?

We'll come back. No one's gonna come in and use the kitchen while it's all smoky, so it's it the same if we wait? Going in now's just gonna be bad for your lungs. It's a stupid idea.

The bears, I believe. [oh] They have ample fat which I seem to vaguely recall renders nicely in any dish.
