WEEK ONE: MINGLE

WEEK ONE: MINGLE (40 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Hajime, Pikachu, and Virid's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Finally, this week, the participants will find themselves drawn to one person in particular. Whoever that is, they will find themselves compelled to be close to them physically. The longer they attempt to resist this, the more compelled they will be... and the closer they will want to be, to the point that it might be emotionally and physically draining to not be holding hands or hugging them for several hours because you've ignored them too long. That's fun.

[ A number of changes to note:

In the Emporium:

• The L*gos statue, which had been damaged by CERTAIN people who know who they are, has been repaired. Unfortunately. ]

TALK TO TIGER

[ tiger can be found... well, lounging. they can be spotted sitting behind the counter in the emporium, flipping through a magazine. or in the inn lobby, sitting on a couch. or at the railroad station, sipping a drink, on a bench.

there may be a pattern here. ]

TALK TO SWAN

[retellers]

[ While in town, Swan can be found sitting on top of the roof of the inn, kicking their legs as they draw shapes with... light that seems to be coming from their hands(?), in the Penny Arcade playing Smack-A-Mole with a lot of enthusiasm. They can also be found hanging out in the control room, looking out at the stars quietly. Also, sometimes, if you blink, they will be gone, and then the next blink they'll be back.

Wherever you may see them, they'll at least greet you with a small wave, though. ]

TALK TO GOAT

[ goat can be found walking along the rooftops of buildings or hanging out in the forest with the animals--whether they be the woodland creatures or the more dangerous ones deeper in, who seem to be at ease with goat's presence. as long as goat is there... well, the animals won't necessarily be friendly towards you, but they won't get hostile.

oddly, goat seems to be around at all hours, no matter how early or late. ]

but anyway, she catches one of their disappearing acts at some point (???), and when they next reappear, she bows back politely. ]

Hello. I suppose it's time for the three of you to meet us properly, isn't it?

[ insomniacs and night owls unite. that is to say, at some point, because every important conversation in madoka happens on the tops of buildings and trains, homura is lying back on one of the building rooftops (how did she get up there??? a mystery), catching a quiet moment away from the crowd (unless there's a secret club of rooftop climbers whose meetings she's interrupting by existing) when she notices goat's presence.

it's late. homura's aware her sleep habits aren't exactly healthy, but... ]

... Do you not get tired?

Hey. We were starting to wonder if you guys would ever show up. [it's sort of a joke, but hello, nice to meet you.]

[over at the control bridge, soo-won seems like he's touching things that he shouldn't be. when authorization denied flashes another time, he just seems to laugh before letting himself get absolutely lost in watching the stars and the moon in front of him. there's a look in his eyes that seems to be enthralled, like he doesn't want to miss a single detail.

though when he hears footsteps approaching, whoever it might be, he offers up a smile and gestures to the captain's seat]

Captain, your chair.

when soo-won finds the shuttles that seemingly take you to the moon, his eyes go incredibly wide because someone's small medieval fantasy korea brain was not built to handle this information. he looks to the shuttle, he looks to the closest person, shuttle, you.]

Would you like to go?

[comparatively, anywhere soo-won is going to look at the updated rules and... his expression is less than pleased, though it's only erring on the cloudy side of neutral]

Now it's set in stone... and we're expected to share with one another, is it....

[he's walking through town and it's the light that catches his eye more than anything. it takes a few moments, but give him a sec to climb up to the top of the roof before he approaches and sits down next to swan.]

That's a pretty cool trick.

[sora finds himself in the forest at some point in the afternoon, and as he's taking a walk he ends up stumbling upon goat who's with the woodland creatures, don't make me deal with more bears. still, he slows down enough to approach them with a grin.]

They seem to like you a lot.

i. inn, Monday morning
[ This was bound to happen. His PHS must've gotten busted and now he's locked out of his old room and there are important things in his room and so he must camp out in front of number 15 until Usagi lets him back in. 8AM to 2PM are sleep hours, though, so he'll just be curled up in front of the door on his side zzzzing. ]

ii. garden, Monday evening
[ squints at everything in this room

Kano squats down in front of each little row of plants, peering at the veggies at all angles without actually touching anything because you know what they use to water space plants? Recycled pee or something like that. ]

Which of these is the Optunia cactus...

iii. ???, Tuesday late at night
[ Kano walks out of the ??? room with a saw in his hand. This is fine. ]

iv. Tuesday onwards
Ooh, I call shotgun!

[ Please somebody go to the moon with Kano.

Eventually, maybe, once they get far enough that the ice starts to appear and begins to thin out, Kano hops out of the rover and onto his feet. Ice won't take the rover's weight, probably, so the rest of the way past the sign will be on foot. ]

[ Kano finds him in the inn lobby when he comes downstairs, immediately beelining when he sees the mask. ]

It's a little overwhelming, isn't it?

[Hansa is very dubious about going on this moon thing because like. What the heck. You can't just go to the moon like this? But now Soo-won is looking at him with those big ol' eyes.]

I guess, but...honestly, I wonder if its like a simulation or something...

[ I want you to know that there's this immediate urge to reach out and boop Swan's beak but Kano will not.

He spots them on the inn's roof! And calls up to them: ]

Hey! Can I get a lift up?

[Just leaning over their shoulder to read their magazine.]

Anything interesting?

[suddenlybees]

[ Kano finds Goat at 2 in the morning wandering around in the forest. ]

Hey! Hello! Do you know the bears that live around here?

Oh, no. That surely is not my seat.

[Ange is smiling a little, though, as she slowly walks closer.

... .. .... A deep breath in.]

This is amazing, isn't it? All of these stars...

[her victorian era mind seems to also be awed.]
