WEEK ONE: MINGLE

WEEK ONE: MINGLE (40 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Hajime, Pikachu, and Virid's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Finally, this week, the participants will find themselves drawn to one person in particular. Whoever that is, they will find themselves compelled to be close to them physically. The longer they attempt to resist this, the more compelled they will be... and the closer they will want to be, to the point that it might be emotionally and physically draining to not be holding hands or hugging them for several hours because you've ignored them too long. That's fun.

But in such a case, how can you be certain that they are young compared to you? Composure is just as much an outcropping of personality as it is experience.

We remember our ages. Mine has simply been lost to time.

So it seems. The Realm brought in all sorts.

Then given your age and experience, what do you make of the current situation?

[retellers]

That depends on what exactly you mean by "the current situation".

[antaressnipe]

I suppose the current state of the Realm, if that is not too vague.

[retellers]

... It worries me, but we can't let panic take a hold of us either. Fragmenting ourselves will only be our downfall.

[antaressnipe]

Yes... especially with a larger goal to keep in mind.

I suppose there is no way for our Leaders to forcibly keep us from killing...?

[retellers]

Not that we're aware of... However, come Thursday, a few of us intend to remain in the town. Though our efforts may be pointless, as we also fell victim to the forced sleep last week, we will do what we can.

... Is it possible that you could be killed as well?

[retellers]

[ they don't seem bothered. ]

Hypothetically, there is nothing stopping any of you from trying... but should anyone do so, they'll find that I'm not so easy to kill.

And what of the others? Do they also have means to protect themselves in some way?

[retellers]

To varying degrees, but yes. We each have enough to be able to defend ourselves.

That is a relief to hear. While I doubt many would target you, I'd rather a plan of action be in place should the worst happen.
