WEEK ONE: MINGLE

WEEK ONE: MINGLE (40 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Hajime, Pikachu, and Virid's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. Finally, this week, the participants will find themselves drawn to one person in particular. Whoever that is, they will find themselves compelled to be close to them physically. The longer they attempt to resist this, the more compelled they will be... and the closer they will want to be, to the point that it might be emotionally and physically draining to not be holding hands or hugging them for several hours because you've ignored them too long. That's fun.

[ Hikaru would have gone to find a bucket and returned to find Kano gone. Sora at least has a healthier amount of distrust. ]

Not a chance. [he has a lot of blind faith and optimism but he's not totally stupid.]

[ Kano laughs and doesn't pull back. He's played chicken before! He knows better than to move, it's best if he just stands his ground. ]

The plants will get watered either way, so it, like, doesn't matter? But okay, okay, let's go find a bucket~ You can show off your macho arms or whatever you want to prove so bad~

[can't believe they're both just going to stand like this now.]

It is not about showing off my arms. [he makes a face.] But yeah, okay. We'll go...after you explain the cactus.

[ Kano rolls his eyes. ]

I'm gonna use it as an ingredient to poison someone. Now can we go?

...yeah, sure. [he'll start to turn to walk, but he glances over his shoulder to make sure kano's following.] I didn't know you knew how to make poisons.

[suddenlybees]

[ He's following, just several paces behind Sora and deliberately so that it's just a bit uncomfortable to keep turned like that. ]

How much do you know about me at all, huh? Is there anything?

I know that you're probably not the kind of person who gives out information about himself that easily. Right?

Haha, wow! What a cop out answer! I'll let you know that I did respond when somebody asked my favorite color once, you know?

[ It might not have been a serious response, but he did... Kano says things sometimes. ]

Let me rephrase it. I think you're gonna have a really hard time following rule number 9 without getting something else out of it, or without someone you really trust.

[i.e., he thinks kano says things, but nothing meaningful. not right away. not without effort.]

'cause it's none of anybody else's business? My life isn't some sort of entertainment to tell stories about, you know?

I think a lot of people are taking meaningful way out of context. It doesn't have to be way too personal.
