Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up.

The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed.

Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel.

Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs!

Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing.

Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun!

[sora will never yell for help. help will show up when he least expects it tbh, that's how it works? which is to say he whips himself around, never quite slowing down despite the healing burns on his legs as he swings to attempt knocking a skeleton overboard. if any of them get too close though, he'll go for another strike and a slash sideways to knock them off-course and blocking as best as he can.

Into the unknoooooooooooown!

[dramatic music swells around the ship, which I have now decided is a sea shanty version of "into the unknown". i will look up later if this exists and i will be disappointed if it doesn't. the voice, though, comes out of elsa's incredible lungs, which can spit solid beats regardless of what fearsomely exhausting physical activity she's currently up to.

and right now, that activity is swinging on to the ship via rope and straight up clocking a skeleton in the skull with her swashbuckling boots. she's aiming to wreck his shit completely, so if his sword happens to comedically fly into the air after she executes this rad move, elsa will move to catch it with a flourish, because disney, that's why. mods do it for the vine.

she lands on the deck, and swings her braid over her shoulder, smiling at sora.]

Need a hand, captain?

[regardless of if she gets that sword or not, she's ready to absolute kick the shit out of some skellies.]

[ Horrible. Paako, however, seems enraged by his sister's beheading, even though she is completely fine without one. But Paako will now try to wrestle Lup, despite the fact that she just cut off an arm.

Up top, the skeletons all... pause and watch Elsa's entrance. A few clap appreciatively. It was pretty good? One of the skeletons makes a so-so motion. ]

Eh. Doubloona would have sang it better.

[ Anyway, Elsa gets a sword. The skeletons will finally stop clapping, and will charge at both Sora and Elsa.

The other ship is still hanging out. Please, continue to not pay any attention to it and its cannons. Don't worry about it. ]

[Taako pauses in his tracks, as if he's sensed a deep disturbance in the air . . .]

Is-- is someone getting applause that isn't me?

[But, you know, there's shit to do. Lup has a sword, so she's fine. She can handle these rude knock offs. Ducking into a roll to go after Rup's head that he just sent spinning off into the distance and . . . is there a cannon around. Shoving it into a cannon.]

I came here to fire a friggin' cannon and I want to fire a cannon already!

[ if there are any cannonballs around she'll kick one in taako's direction, also.

otherwise she's going to use rup's body as a distraction by shoving it at paako and then hitting them both with her sword. just wild whacking.

where's his arm. can she dual wield. lup is going to beat paako and rup with her sword and also paako's arm. ]

[that's it. elsa of arendelle is literally his only friend right now because like the skeletons, sora also pauses to watch elsa's grand entrance. give him a moment to give her a wide smile.]

I knew you'd come through for me! Ready to show 'em how it's done? [does elsa know how to use a sword? he actually does not know but that was pretty damn impressive so it's surely fine. and if not, punching works like he's doing right now to clock a skeleton in the head to pop its skull off as it gets closer.] Stand your ground!

[why? because he's going to fight his way over to the side of the ship and with a running leap he's going to jump over to the other ship to make sure there aren't any lone skeletons around. good luck elsa, you got this! probably!]

[complete with jump-cut zoom-in for each word, her face determined and ready to destroy. this is very exciting! she hasn't fought anything since the whole spirits thing, and she didn't want to hurt them! let's wreck the undead! especially whoever doubloona is!!

elsa has no earthly idea how to swordfight, but she has unlimited running-in-the-deep-snow stamina, and the kind of terrifying determination that can literally tame a bucking waterhorse trying to kill you? so, she's literally just slashing fools left and right, every time they get a little too close, lopping off limbs and scattering bones. she doesn't look too worried? it's fine. it's disney!]

[ Good news! There are cannonballs. Bad news... there seems to be a lack of ammunition? Huh. Weird. Almost like someone threw all the ammunition overboard, because they weren't expecting an army of skeletons to attack the town, which is a situation where ammunition would be useful? Anyway.

Lup... can dual wield. Paako is outraged.

Meanwhile, Sora just leaped onto an enemy ship! Surprise, it's full of skeletons! Sora leaps into the middle of what seems like a villain song number, but they pause mid-note to look at him. Awkward. ]

... arrrr. He has come.

[ They look serious, or as serious as a skeleton can look. They cannot make facial expressions, they are bones.

Meanwhile, Elsa is going wild with her new sword? That's cool. The skeletons look at each other, and instead decide to attack by throwing shit at her. Like, boat stuff. Have some rope, binch! ]

[ at some point while lup is wailing on the fake twins she gets this sense that she should be really mad about something. hm.

anyway, taako leaves, which is fine because lup was getting bored of beating them up pretty quickly so she just follows taako up to the deck. she's still got paako's arm, too. ]

Oh, shit! Elsa, what's up - where is Sora. [ ...

oh right. well, she'll throw paako's arm at mach speed at the skeletons throwing shit at elsa, and then do a running leap to like, midair sidekick one of them off the side of the ship. it's very pro wrestling.

lup, use your sword. ]

[hm. did not think this one through. so here he is on the enemy ship and he's keeping a tight grip on his sword, still in a battle stance as he's looking at these villainous skeletons?]

Um...am I interrupting something? And could you maybe take it somewhere else?

[hello??? were you expecting him??? he pays no mind to what's going on at the howling rose for a few moments.]

Why are you throwing things? Didn't you like my singing? You applauded and everything!

[i rolled a sixteen, so she sidesteps the rope—and just runs at the crowd, swinging the sword. and singing again.]

Where are you going? Don't leave me alooooooone! Trust me, I'll follow you! Into the unknown!

[mid slasher attack, Lup's thrown skeleton arm pegs one of them, and her beautiful kick hits another? elsa nods approvingly, and moves away from the pro-wrestling space.]

He's on the other ship! [purely for corny disney comedy, elsa scoops up paako's arm—and wiggles it.] Think he could use a spare hand?

[as she speaks, she's one-handedly continuing to slash like a demon. let elsa frozen kill the undead.]

[ I hate this. I'm modding this, but I also hate this.

Paako and Rup are abandoned, which is very rude. They continue to work on their plan. However, the skeletons will try very hard to keep Elsa and Lup on this boat? They are currently getting their asses kicked by a Disney princess, but it's fine, they are still keeping them here. Because...

On the other boat, some of the skeletons are now firing cannons at the Howling Rose. Because they still have things to fire with. Fuck you.

Meanwhile, Sora now has a bunch of skeletons running towards him--in a motion that looks kind of like coordinated dancing, if you tilt your head. Guess they were disappointed in having their number interrupted? ]

[Still with Rup's head under his arm, and with cannons firing in his general direction, Taako's heading for boarding the other boat too - trying a maneuver where he grabs and rope and tries to swing across while yelling]

[ eh what are paako and rup gonna do, they're missing a head and an arm ]

Nice. [ lup says, laughing. it is distinctly gremlin-like. ] Hey! Back to back! Let's action movie this shit!

[ well we're sinking now so that's fun but lup doesn't care because she's nyoomed over to elsa and they're back to back, fighting off skeletons with their cool swords. it's very dramatic, lup is humming the pirates of the caribbean theme under her breath, it's great.

the ship is probably shaking pretty alarmingly. hm. ]

[sora's going to duck so taako can swing valiant and gayly over his head, and he has no idea what else is going on because that sure is a lot of enemy skeletons closing in. the thing about the boat is he can also feel the slight rocking that comes from cannonballs being fired and he turns just in time to watch them hit the other ship. great.

it's fine. rapunzel taught him to dance which means he volleys off of the side of the ship, falling into his own coordinated dance moves while slashing and striking at whoever gets closest. are there barrels on deck, he will get out of the way to jump on a barrel, do a spin and launch himself back into the unknoooown.]

Disarm the cannons! The Rose is sinking! [TAAKO GO GET READY TO BLOW SOMETHING ELSE UP I GUESS, HE HAS HIS HANDS FULL.]

[okay so first of all, all of us can mutually agree that lup and elsa fighting off skeletons back to back on a sinking ship owns. lup is humming music. elsa is really getting into it now, absolutely thwacking skeleton heads off their shoulders with gleeful abandon. it's really more the force of the swing than the blade that's taking them off? but it's fine. lup may be subject to elsa's ongoing background anxiety emotions, but mostly she just gets that elsa is having a lot of fun going absolutely apeshit.

well, until sora yells out that the rose is sinking. she gasps, eyes going wide, and grabs lup.]

Come on! We have to go help Sora! He's still recovering from his injuries--ow! [stupid zappy week rule? anyway, she's running to a convenient pirate battle rope, shoving her sword in her belt, and swinging again.

i rolled really good on this, so she lands with another flourish. let's dance battle.]

[ Okay so, here's the thing.

Everyone looks really cool at the moment? Elsa and Lup are kicking ass. Taako is running with a head. Sora is also cool, but he is not a hot girl, so he gets less attention from the mod writing this. But like, all in all? They're doing pretty well, if you ignore the fact that the Howling Rose is currently sinking.

And that's when the kraken shows up. ]

[Taako lands, presumably, on the Enemy Ship and sees. Well. The fucking Kraken? This rules.]

Jiminy friggin' Christmas. Can't believe this is the only fun thing that's happened here.

[for some reason, poses - captured head held aloft.]

Listen up, skele-holes, I'm here, I'm queer, and I'm commandeering this ship! This ship is mine now and if you got a problem with that, you can report it to Captain Bofa!

[Loading Rup's head into a cannon, because I assume no one is actually paying attention to this, but he is turning to whisper to a nearby skeleton that may or may not be aggressive right now.]

Psst, hey, before I light this, I really need a favor, and I need you to say "Captain Bofa?" but like, as a question. it's for a one-liner and it's gonna rule.

[ no like, it really does own. and lup is really enjoying herself too, it's feedback going apeshit energy. the whole zap thing sucks, though. ow. she's shaking her hand out as she prepares to follow elsa over to the other ship. she stops right before she swings over, one foot on the railing of the ship, dramatically looking out at the town that is definitely really on fire. ]

Yeah, yeah, no, you're right, I just - it just occurred to me that I'm in the one place without fire right now, and I'm - super bummed about that? I --

[ and then the kraken shows up. ]

NEVER MIND THIS WAS THE RADDEST CHOICE, FUCK HIM UP, TAAKO!

[GUYS, THE SHIP????? but he pays no attention to it because he's busy with the appearance of the kraken and there's just a startled yell.]

This again? [you know what. no. he will use his sword to throw off a couple of skeletons to leave to the hot ladies before he decides the smartest thing he can do is go to the steering wheel of the ship to start turning toward the kraken so taako can, as the kids say, fuck him up.

the wheel gets a nice spin to get them aligned properly before he's ready to fight again. is there any saving the howling rose at this point, i'm crying]

It's going to sink faster if we don't stop this one from firing on it--oh!

[KRAKEN???

for a moment, elsa just stares at it, open-mouthed, before going back to angrily fighting skellies. fuck it. fuck this. she'll watch sora and taako's backs while they fuck up the kraken.]

...Why is it that when I want my magic the most, I don't have it?!

And who is Captain Bofa?!

[ The skeleton that Taako was speaking to looks down sadly. It wanted to be part of the joke...

Meanwhile, the ship that Lup is on is still sinking. It's about to sink even more, because the Kraken reaches a long tentacle to grab onto the ship and start dragging it to it. Oh. Oh goddammit why did tentacles have to get involved I swear this wasn't on purpose.

Anyway, the skeletons don't really react to the Kraken, as they are all used to this, so they just immediately return to attacking Sora. Soo-won is watching in the background. ]

Anyway, Taako blinks for a second, because he thought he heard someone yell about Captain Bofa, but it's kinda loud and there's a lot of shouting, so he's just trying to find something to light this cannon with for a second before grabbing, I don't know, a torch and making sure the cannon is aimed actually at the kraken wherever it might be. Aiming too precisely is heteronomative though so I am not going to bother. I'm powergaming at this point, but, it's midnight and i am tired.]

Did someone sa-- Did someone say it? They definitely did, right? Uh-- Whatever!

[then he fires the cannon. sure hope rup doesn't care too much about this.]

[ oh the kraken is out here just destroying the ship huh. rip paako and rup.

she whoops at top volume at taako's joke, clapping, and then there's an alarming cracking sound as the ship starts to actually go down.

so! lup is... going to jump from the ship onto the kraken's tentacle, and then the kraken itself, and try to run across it to the other not sinking ship. she is still humming the potc theme under her breath as she does this. ]
