WEEK TWO: MINGLE
WEEK TWO: MINGLE (37 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's the start of a new week. To the participants, yesterday's events may seem distant now—albeit not as distant as their life before this. Whether or not they notice, they will have lost a memory upon waking up. The barrier to the north is down, and beyond the bridge lies new areas to explore. Strangely, what was there last week seems to have been replaced overnight. That's not the only thing that's different, either. The participants will find that their lodgings have changed, and new buildings within the town have been unlocked. Finally, should anyone check their PHS, Cater, Sharon, and Kano's profiles have been removed. Three Leaders can be found around the area, open (?) to approach. If participants want to speak to them more privately, or to an absent Leader, it looks like they'll have to go through another channel. Furthermore, it looks as though the rules have updated. If you break the current ninth rule, participants will get shocked. It will be a mild shock at first, but the longer they touch each other, the stronger it will get. On that note, if your character did not share a memory last week, please make sure to check your notifs! Participants may also find that their memories of the past few weeks are getting fuzzier... as though they can't recall some of the details without focusing. Finally, this week, every time a participant gets within one foot of someone, they will experience the emotions the other person is currently feeling and vice-versa. This will last for ten seconds even after they've stepped out of their personal bubble, after which the sharing itself might share, but the knowledge will not. Have fun! |

Meanwhile, on the boats, they are definitely bumper boating right now. A few of the skeletons jump on though, and immediately charge at Hua Cheng and Shiro, both with guns and swords.
Karen is going to be so pissed when she sees this later when she sees this damage. I just rolled and Ochako got a 19, so she does not get shot. In fact, she somehow manages to knock two skeletons overboard. Wow! ]

Karen and Pub Owner are not the ones in immediate distress so she's heading to Rabbit first, lowering her sword only so she can take Rabbit's hand in one of her own while reaching up to brush at their face with her other palm.]

He doesn't hesitate to go for the closest skeleton holding a sword, aiming to take the head off with a swift strike to yeet at a neighboring skeleton. He has probably fought skeletons before. This is, again, just another Wednesday. ]

With skeletons on the ship, Shiro isn't going to be able to board the other ship yet. He has to help Hua Cheng first. And that means squaring off against skeletons and tossing them around the ship, since he doesn't currently have a weapon to fight them with yet.

[ Karen doesn't get to finish the sentence, because the roof collapses--and done come some skeletons with it! They are on FIRE, because they're already animated skeletons, of course they will be chill with fire. Rabbit yells uselessly. You have powers, you fool.
Hua Cheng manages to take down a skeleton. But then... remember the ones who fell overboard? You fools, they are also waterproof, didn't you see that cool scene in the first PotC film? The one we totally aren't ripping off right now? Anyway, they grab onto his legs in an attempt to pull him overboard.
Shiro... can steal an arm, that is also holding a sword. But more skeletons are boarding, so he better think fast.
I am vetoing death for Ochako because Ray wants it too much. They try to fight her off, but she is much shorter than them as I just decided, so she can dodge their swipes. Ochako can have a gun. ]

Roof comes down, Karen and Whoever He Is go in one direction while Hikaru pulls Rabbit in the other, pushing her down until the debris clears a little more and coughing for breath.]

[rip the other NPCs, but she needs to prioritize here before doing Extra Stupid Stuff. She'll try to lead Rabbit back through the debris towards the door, pausing only when a fire skeleton gets too close to grip at her sword, pushing her weight from below to jump up and slash the thing clean in two.

His footing might be a little unsteady, and he might be at risk for being dragged overboard, but he kicks one leg at a soggy skeleton as he brings the sword of the other skeleton around - skeleton attached, for maximum yeet! Whether sword or skeleton inflict friendly fire on a neighboring pirate, whatever, let's dance.
He will take out as many of these fuckers as possible before casa de snisi finish watching POTC, where the underwater scene is currently happening. ]

The flaming skeleton head goes sailing... at the same time that a skeleton with an arrow in its eye wanders in. It is blind now, and it is lost and alone, but then a flaming skull hits it and knocks it over. This game becomes less ADA compliant as time goes on.
Shiro manages to hit the skeleton with the skeleton! It falls into the water, but tries to desperately grab onto the boat. Actually, it's just trying to tip the boat over now. Hm.
As for Ochako... she just rolled a 5. The bullet hits the skull! And ricochets off it! Please dodge. ]

haha wouldn't that be wild. in reality, she just got the notif to her phs late and scrambled out to the nearest area that didn't seem to be overly hectic with other people. she's no fighter, but she is a pretty thorough scout and quick to think on her feet, which is how she managed to snag a gun that she's attempting to shoot at one of the fire skeletons attacking hikaru and the npc squad. surprisingly enough, she actually seems pretty competent with the gun, and her stance as she lines up the shot seems to lend further support...
but on top of francia's 6, google decided it hates me especially and gave me a 4 so she. misses the skeleton and ends up shooting karen in the leg instead. oops. this causes her to scream and wave the gun around frantically as she runs toward the group in a panic. ]

Unlike Alyssa who is apparently now allergic to touching rude people, Hikaru's definitely close enough to try to whip off her uniform jacket and try to press it to Karen's wound. Karen is probably yelling at her, but Hikaru is learning how to be a good Customer Service Representative and just ignore your customer's temper tantrum until they can be polite.
Well, until skeletons start to stroll on down to Alyssa, and in the process, back to her.]
