WEEK TWO: TRIAL (35 remain) Rise and shine, gremlins. Hopefully you found it in you to make and eat breakfast, despite yesterday's news. At 11am, everyone will receive a message on their PHS, simply stating: This is your reminder to be at the Emporium by 12 PM. Shortly before 12pm, every participant will feel compelled to move towards the Emporium, if they aren't already there. No exceptions! Though they will have to navigate around shelves and merchandise and the like, everyone will fit neatly inside the room. Once all the participants are present and the clock strikes twelve, the doors lock behind them. Three of the Leaders are there with them: Wolf, Rabbit, and Fox. Fox speaks. "... For the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6pm EST, where no mod tags will occur. Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. [give him a moment to think of how to phrase this.] I just wanted to check, but have you guys been able to learn a little more about the Realm and why it reacts the way it does to certain things on Thursdays? Like, for example, how we could possibly have so many people awake and running around but nobody seems to notice?

Um, I know you hate us saying that we don't know since we're asleep, but...

If we were awake, we'd be be able to tell what's happening. I don't know if the Realm just senses that someone is in danger and wants to give them a chance to protect themselves? Since if it just wanted to let whoever is killing do it, then wouldn't it just be easier to let the potential victim sleep through it? [ ... ] Ah, but that's just me guessing, sorry.

If I may-- the rewards that were given to us last week, the gems... are they only capable of being used by the person they were given to, or would they be able to be used by anyone if they had access?

Theoretically, anyone can use them, but the only people who know what they do are the ones who received them. Kind of hard to use something when you don't know what it is.
